get u some !! no really, they are smooth and quiet enuff, ...and yes ... least expensive ! I drive 2 / 3 K miles, already, and just fine ! I have 2000 ford ranger. ...honky dory ! sorry USA !

Shopped for tires for a long time before purchasing the Nexens. Hadn't heard of them before so did some research on internet. Found almost unanimous agreement that these tires were a great buy for the money. My pickup has a little over 110,000 miles on it and I drive exclusively on pavement. So I needed a highway tire. I wanted a good, safe tire but didn't want to spend $150 to $200 a piece for them. Ordered the Nexens from the local Walmart store for $106 each. They called me the next morning to let me know the tires were in and to bring the pickup out. In an hour they were installed and ready to go. My first impression - I had them mount the tires with the blackwall side out. They look very good. The tread looked deep and I thought there might be some road noise. No so. Drove the pickup up to 75 mph. Quite and smooth. Drove in pouring day the other day and didn't notice any hydro-planing. Haven't driven in snow yet but don't see any reason they will not perform as well. Very impressed with these tires so far. If these get the 50,000 miles wear that they are designed for, I will be buying another set.

Looks and performance better than expected. Not a big fan of raised white letters so I installed them with the blackwall out and they look great. Running on Astro cargo AWD and handling improved alot, good solid feel not mushy.

In order to compare oranges to oranges, you at least need the UTQG (Uniform Tire Quality Guide). While it's not perfect, at least it gives you something to compare. The specs do not list the UTQG, therefore it is difficult to know if this is a good value or not. If you are looking for cheap, check out Geo-Trac.

Bought a set 54k miles ago and they're still holding up. I am ready for a new set finally. Great to see Wal-mart carries them. I'm buying these, no hesitation. Not bad for the cheapest tire I can find to fit my 2002 explorer.

8 year old tires on my 2000 Ranger XLT Super Cab were practically dry rotting on the wheels. Cracks appear on the sidewall as well as between the tread. Unsafe of course, so started shopping for a new set. The more I looked, the more confused I became. Until spotting these online @ Walmart. 60k mile warranty, fit my truck, so decided to give 'em a try. Ordered through local store, didn't have to pay anything for that, but this is a tire not carried for display in stores. Had some concerns these tires were going to "sing" and sure didn't want that!
Fears were unfounded. After driving away, first thing I did was run 'er up to 75mph so see. Nope. Ride is smooth, no singing, and also a nice looking tire.

Only thing: Installers put 35psi in the tires and every time you hit a small hole or run over a railroad track resulted in a very HARD hit. I let out 5lbs of air and now carry 30psi in each. I'm interested in the ride not the miles that can be stretched out of them. Only had these tires a week, but from what I'm seeing, it was a excellent purchase for the $ spent!

35 PSI is the correct air pressure for best ride

35 PSI is the absolute best air pressure for ride and longevity. 30 PSI will cause you to handle sluggish, use more gas and wear tread out quicker on the edges. You're never supposed to constantly run a tire under 32 PSI no matter what. I actually run 38 PSI in all my tires and the ride is great and so is the handling and tread life. Just so you know.
