I have had this product a little over a year and it works great. Glad it has a timer and the auto shut off is a good feature if you have children or animals, its great for getting the chill out of the air. Works far better at warming a room than most comparable products of the same price. I use it daily now and it has kept me very warm during this cold weather.

The heater is safe, easy to use, and energy efficient. I gave it 4 stars because the fan is little noisy. If you are looking for a silent heater, this one is not for you. I use it as an adjunct to my gas central heat. It works as I expected. My central heat comes on much less often.

We bought this heater to heat one room in our house. I was very disappointed. We have returned it already and have purchased another one. You have to sit right next to the heater to get any kind of warmth.

I bought this heater in October, I had only used it 3 times and the heater coil broke and I had to take it back. Then I got another one and the coil broke in the first 20 minutes of using it. The third time it broke within a day. This product is horrible and I would not even reccomend it to my worst enemy. DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU CAN HELP IT! We got a Lasko and it is wonderful and STILL running.

I purchased this heater 2 weeks ago. I am very displeased with this heater as I have only had the thermostat on it set at half power and other setting on High... The heater kicks off every 5 minutes and have to reset it. I have been very displeased with the overall ability of this heater. On the max setting it kicks off in approx. 2 minutes and there is nothing within 4 feet of heater. I would not recommend this heater. My experience is extremely displeased...and I am returning it today... My personal opinion goes back to you get what you pay for...

This heater did exactly what I wanted it do. It took a little while to heat the room but when it did I had to actually turn it off ... I bought a ceramic heater and it did nothing for my bedroom... If u are looking for a heater that will heat a large room this is the heater to buy!

i went to the store thinking i was going to make one trip to get a good room heater..yea right .when i brought this thing home,pluged it up and after 15 mins the thing just cut off,no heat ,no noise, no nothing.i took it right back less than an hour after i brought this home, i was right back at the store to return it.i brought 3 small lakewood utility heaters (my room,kids room,a spare) these things heat up perfectly i was truly impressed.good things do come in small packages... i love them,love them...got 3 of them..

I LOVE THIS HEATER!! I have a really big living room and this heats it very well. We have not turned the heat on yet and I don't know if we will. We are going back to Wal-Mart tonight to buy another one for the bedroom. It was the reviews on this page that made me decide on this heater, I'm glad I listened to the advice!

I brought this heater last night and i have to disagree with most of the reviews. This product does not heat up a room at all. The product box even states the heater is only for use up close, to heat the person not the room.

I bought 2 of these heaters about 4 years ago. Believe it or not I have both of them sitting in my florida room where there is no heat at all. There are 40 windows in this room. When I turn them both on after about 2 hours on a 15 degree day we are able to sit in the room with total comfort for the rest of the day. And beings that my husband and I do not smoke in the house that is a big benifit in the winter. And we do use it every day in the winter. It only ups my electric bill a few dollars.

I bought this because it was getting cold (around 20 degrees with windshield 16 degrees). And our furance broke so I wanted something to keep us warm. Well, it worked. I bought 2 for upstairs and downstairs, and we stayed warm. But we also have a open floor plan on both levels. I would recommend it for the money. But, it did take a while to warm up, but it stayed warm.

I bought this heater yesterday,and plugged it in close to nighttime when it was starting to get cold.I set the thermostat at about the three quarter mark.At that setting the heating coils glow with a very warm orange colour which helped light up the kitchen area.I have five rooms downstairs which are all open to each other,so i was not expecting it to heat all the rooms downstairs.To my surprise i went downstairs at 3 am and the whole downstairs was warm,including the hallway upstairs.This heater actually heated all the rooms.Will be buying another on to complinet the one in the kitchen.My only problem with space heaters is i don't like to leave them on when i am at work.so i turned it off this morning.Would highly recommend this heater.I had one of those oil filled heaters but it kept popping my circuit breaker and it took forever to heat up downstairs.

This heater is by far the best one that I've EVER bought. The first heater I bought died in about 2 months. Then I bought this one and before the end of the season I plan on buying a few more! I did cover my windows with plastic to cut down the draft.
