My wife and I purchased this set in late February from Walmart.com. We put it together right away and noticed a strong chemical odor coming off of it. Fast forward over six weeks and it still smells bad. The smell, which must be from either the finish or the glues, has not gone away and we're fearful that it will not disappear before our baby comes. Unfortunately, we've long since gotten rid of the enormous boxes it came in, so we're going to have to try to see if Walmart will be willing to take it back as-is (fully assembled). I absolutely would not reccomend this set.

I can't imagine anyone having anything negative to say about this crib. It was very easy to assemble (however, be careful not to overtighten the corner lock screws on the changing table...one did break, but it was my own doing). My daughter (adopted) came home at almost 10m old and is stilling it a year later. It drops down to a pretty low setting so it does last a good while into toddlerhood.
The pieces are simply beautiful and simple.
The only downside is how expensive the toddler rail is! RIDICULOUS price...might as well buy a toddler bed. Heading over to see if I can find a used rail for this on e-bay....

I picked this up at my nearest location, and I had an easy time putting it together. One of the metal inserts inside of a knob was already broken, so I contacted Summer Infant to get it replaced. They ended up sending me darker knobs, which looked more like "mocha" than what I received. Now I'm having a hard time getting a hold of them in order to send me another new knob! I'm thinking Walmart is advertising the wrong color for the nursery, because mine looks more red than anything. I'm happy with it, though. All I want is a knob that matches and isn't broken! But overall, this was a good purchase, and I am satisfied.

The crib is super easy to put together and the dresser isn't too hard either if you have a helper. They look great and the wood is a super nice color.
Another thing I was worried about is if the wood would actually match. My sisters combo pieces were two different shades but these were spot on.

I was a little irritated at first that they came in the same box because i wasn't sure how easy it would be to find the pieces, but the crib is only 5 pieces and its pretty obvious which is which.
Overall im very happy with the product and the price.

I am amazed with how nice this set looks! The crib was exceptionally easy to put together (less than 10 minutes) and is VERY sturdy. The dresser/changer combo looks very nice too but was difficult to put together due to odd screw placements and the hex-design screws. (my husband wants to rate this 1 star based on his experience assembling the dresser!) However, it's a very nice piece of furniture now that its together.
I highly recommend this set! It looks gorgeous and is an awesome value!

This set is beautiful! Its bigger than what I expected and the finish is beautiful. I love putting things together so this was a breeze for me. The only issue was that one of the pieces didn't have the correct holes. Other than that Ilove it and can't wait to put my little boy in the crib once he arrives.

I bought this because I wanted a dresser/changer combo instead of a 3 shelf changing table that would be useless later on. It looks great, set up was easy, and it's very sturdy. The wood finish is a little soft, meaning teeth marks and scratches will be a definite some day. One piece in the dresser came with a crack, but Summer Infant replaced it, no questions asked, within a week. Great customer service! I'm sure that if I ever have another issue with it, they will take care of it with no problem. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. I would never spend the ridiculous amounts of money for nursery sets at other stores.

This set is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! It is the PERFECT gender-neutral color!
The quality of the materials are really nice and it looks more expensive that it actually was. My only issue was the width of the open drawer as it is just shy of 10 inches (due to the lip of the changing table) and most baskets are 10 inches high so the ones that we bought that matched our bedding set did not fit but we found other uses for them!

My husband and I purchased this crib and dresser combo Dec 2011. It was simple to put together and serves its purpose. We just ordered a second set for our baby that is due this summer so that we could have matching sets. (Received our order in only 2 days even though it was supposed to take a week!) The drawers are not the biggest and they don't hold a ton of clothes, but the storage area fits good sized canvas baskets that make up for the lack of drawer space. This obviously isn't a top of the line set, but considering the price it is a great Value. I have many friends that have purchased the $1000+ convertible cribs and matching furniture. The cribs never get turned into the full size beds and end up on Craig's list or yard sales. I would definitely recommend this set over an expensive baby boutique set, as I have owned both. The extra money could easily pay for other baby necessities.

The crib was easy to assemble, but the changing table took a little longer. I wish it would of came with the mattress. I didn't realize it didn't come with one. Be careful assembling the drawers you can strip out the would real easy. I used my battery drill to assemble, would recommend using screw driver on the drawers to keep from striping the would out on then. But over all turned out great and looks real good. Bought for my son and his wife they have child on the way.

I bought this thinking I could get a lot of use out of it and it fit my price range. It was a super easy assembly, I actually put the crib and the dresser together by myself at 9 months pregnant. I'm almost a year into using both things and I have a few gripes about the products. It scratches easily and I'm not a huge fan of the color. Anyone with a teething baby knows that they bite on anything they can get their mouths on. There are teeth marks up and down the top bar of the crib and when I was assembling it I scratched it a little bit trying to put some of the screws in. Since i'll be purchasing the conversion kit, it's not a huge issue since i'll be losing the top bar but it doesn't look great right now. The color is almost cherry-ish, I think I was expecting something more like espresso. Honestly, those are just nitpicky things because it looks great for the most part and it was super economic.
