the pool is a good size for what I needed. was not hard but it took some time of setting up and filling yet included was the pkg of the deluxe kit, the kit is a joke not worth it. and was missing some things I think. the leaf net with extended pole is the best part of the kit.

Here is the review from my 6 year old daughter. " it lasted all summer it is very good for whirlpools and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did." I bought it at the beginning of summer 2012. setup took less than an hour. Make sure your ground is level. Water level comes up to 36 to 39 inches. Ladder works well. Keep chlorine at correct levels and run filter for a while each day and you should be good. Pump has ~20 to 25 feet of cord. Look forward to summer 2013.

we bought this pool 2 weeks ago set it up in about 40 mins (once we got our ground leveled) the pool is bigger then i hade excpeted. which of course is a plus. i suggest to buy and extra trapcause the one provided is thin. it took about 6 hours to completly fill. i have a 7 year old 5 year old which is perfect size for them. but my 4 year old is a tad bit short. to give an idea im 5'5 and the water comes right up to the bottom of my boobs sorry lol. the ladder is a tad bit flemsy but it works. i suggest this pool to any family with small kids or not. not to big not to small.

Review 4 for Summer Escapes 15' x 42" Metal-Frame Swimming Pool with Deluxe Kit
It was very easy to assemble. We layed the liner out in the sun for about 4 hours then it only took about 30 min for 2 people to put together the medal tubing around the top and then attached the legs (don't forget to put them inside the plastic straps that go around the pool). We started adding water and kept pushing the bottom of the liner out with a kitchen broom so we would not pucture the liner. the filter probably took another 15 min to 1/2 hour.

Current review based on initial set up, will see if that changes over the summer. We purchased this pool last summer during the summer clearance sale. We had previously purchased one of the soft side 15x42 pools and while it did the job we wanted, it was a pain in the butt to try and keep clean, since all chemicals had to be added directly to the pool rather than via the strainer and that cut down on the time that the kids could swim. Setup took about an hour with 2 people and was fairly easy once we got started. Fill up is being done over a week period because we are on well water and I don't want to over tax my well. After pool is filled have water tested by your local pool company, testing is normally free and they will give you a print out of exact chemicals, amounts, and instructions for adding. You can purchase the chemicals from them or through another source if you prefer. Price wise not a lot of difference between the pool company and Wal-Mart. If you are using well water to fill the pool I highly recommend that you do not try and use one of the do it yourself kits at least initially, since well water is different from city water and what may work for city water is not always accurate for well water. Even though the pool is not completely filled as yet the kids still enjoy getting in slpashing around in the heat. One the down side the manufacturers customer service is awful but they will ultimately provide the replacement parts. I think they finally got tired of hearing from me about the cover on my previous pool

Review 6 for Summer Escapes 15' x 42" Metal-Frame Swimming Pool with Deluxe Kit
Great price! Great size! Everything about the pool we love so far. Went to Toys R Us and found a 14 ft one for $359.00 dollars. Went to Walmart online and found this one for $199.00. Your yard is not the most leveled and you cant tell even tell that with this pool. Filter is great. Just wish it came with the Chlorine tablet. Had to buy them, but they were a lil over twenty dollars so not bad compared to toys r us price.

My husband and I purchased this pool and put it up a few days ago. The assembly was super easy,. and it's much larger than I had anticipated. We had to buy two tons of sand from a sand and gravel place to make it level. My husband had it assembled and was filling it up within about 2 hours. It did take a long time to fill it up. The filter seems to be good. I love the fact that it came with a pool cover (Our last one that we purchased last summer did not) We are installing a salt water system. I can't wait to spend many lazy summer days in this pool!

Review 8 for Summer Escapes 15' x 42" Metal-Frame Swimming Pool with Deluxe Kit
The pool was very easy to put up! The ladder was a little problem though, but repeating mistakes can only make it work haha. Directions could be a little more detailed too!! Specially for the pump. That was a hit/miss thing!

Pool blew down in windstorm bending the Horizontal Beams. Have tried for 3 months to get parts for Pool which are not available. The manufacturers Rep Poly Group keeps telling me that they do not have the Horizontal Beams in stock but will be in 2 weeks. Have been calling every 2 weeks for the past 3 months with the same story No parts available.

Review 12 for Summer Escapes 15' x 42" Metal-Frame Swimming Pool with Deluxe Kit
As far as being told the pool will go up in 30 minutes, that is SO NOT TRUE. It took almost 2 hours with 3 grown men putting it together, have to level the ground which is the hardest part. The pool is still leaning to one side and I hope it doesn't fall over. We got it just to float around in so hopefully it will withstand that.

We bought this pool last summer and it was great for a family with six kids. But was a little disappointed that the liner separated from the flow valve. But we decided to give it another try again this year just ordered it. I believe it may have happened because the pool wasn't all the way level but we are putting sand under it this year and if all goes well we are gonna buy a bigger one next year but yes I would recommend this pool. Even with what happened to my first one it may not happen to anyone else

Terrible pump

The pool itself is fine, though I would recommend careful site prep and some serious grass and weed killer. I had grass grow up through the tarp and liner on mine after 4 months. The extended warrantee provided me with a new pool. Pumps, however, are garbage. I am on my 4th. The warrantee covers them for 180 days. The last one died at 185 days and even though the pool had been closed for the winter and the pump failed on the second day running since October, they wouldn't honor the warrantee. Offered me 40% discount. New pump is $59.95. The extended warrantee kicked in again, but the pump arrived damaged which I reported and a second pump was sent out. The good news is that I had 3 dead pumps with the damaged part, so I repaired the first and have the second (now pump 5) as a spare.

Great Pool, Bad Pump

This pool is a great pool. Well built, and just does what it is supposed to do. However, the pump system is VERY BAD! We bought our pool 07/31/12. We have now replaced the pump 2 times. We are now going to use a different pump (Which I think Walmart carries), and re-configure the skimmer. If this vendor would only fix the issues with the pump, the pool system would be great. Unfortunatly, they do not care, only giving you a 180 day warranty. And, the average cost for the pump has been around 169.00. The one I am ordering from another vendor, even with the adapter come up only to 116.00, and, it has a 2 yr warranty. Please, consider this before buying this product. WalMart also carries a similar pool, made by Intex. These do not have the pump problem, and, are very good.
