Generic Intex LED Pool Light

With this LED pool light, you can extend the hours of your pool enjoyment long into the nighttime. The Intex Pool Light works in an upright position and is designed for above-ground pools —it mimics the style of an indoor wall light. Simply attach the pool light to the wall of the pool, and youll get a soft glow that wont wake everyone in the neighborhood. Plus, you can easily move the Intex LED Pool Light from one side to the other with ease. The light is powered by a 3-watt LED and plugs into any 110V wall outlet. For your convenience, this pool light includes a transformer to operate and reduce the light voltage being used. Whether its just past dusk or long after midnight, the Intex Pool Light allows you to have a safe night swim.

I don't have a lot of use time on this light so I can't speak to its longevity. It's a very well constructed light, well worth the money paid. It comes with a very long extension cord to reach plug outlets and lights up an 18'x9' Intex pool very brightly. The magnets are super strong and work very well between the pool fabric. You can even move the light around by sliding the outside piece without it losing connection. This light makes it very easy to remove and replace if you don't plan on mounting it permanently.
I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to light an above ground pool. The cheaper lights can be a serious hassle - water leaks, regular battery replacement, etc. and are just not worth it. Spend the money, get a light that will last and do a better job without any hassle other than locating an outlet to plug it into.

I have an 18 by 48 intex pool the light is just enough. I have seen several comments where people say they need two and I'm just not understanding that. One light is perfect for our pool and even if it was bigger it would still suffice. I love it. It's perfect and I would highly recommend it for night time swimming.

yes, it hooks to the sides of your above ground pool like a magnet, 12' pool lights it up well. So far I use it for ambiance for the back yard for when I entertain at night. Have not actually swam in pool at night as yet, kinda cold. Only thing is i paid $49 for it and now it is $36 something, can I get money back?

This item is worth every penny - and then some! Last year I bought one. It illuminated the entire pool, although less brightly on the opposite side of my 18' above ground. Yet it made me feel like I was swimming in an in-ground with the lighting in the walls. So I bought a second one and installed it on the opposite side. Results? Even more amazing. So this year, I bought a third. More light is better, right? Not only is it awesome while swimming, but it also makes it easier to replace the solar cover AFTER a night swim. Trust me, you will not regret this purchase!

I bought this light hoping it would at least put a little light in the pool at night, I never thought it would light the whole pool as bright as it does.
It was worth every penney and is the easiest thing to set up.

The light is very easy to install. It's basically a very large magnet that can be placed anywhere on your pool you wish. The cord is long enough that it will go almost all the way around my 18' pool and still reach the outlet near the house. The plastic and metal of the light seems to be very good quality and the plug is thick enough that it won't wear out when you "turn it off". My only complaint about the light is the fact that it doesn't have an on/off switch or timer. In order to turn it off you must unplug the light. The first night I used the light I forgot to unplug it. It would be great if it had a timer on it so it will go off in 1, 2, 4, 6 hours. For the cost of this light, however, I am very pleased with the product.
I had this product shipped to the store because shipping it to my home was more than the product itself! I purchased an 18' pool at the same time as this light and the pool arrived at my home two days BEFORE the light. This is not a reflection on the product itself however I was very disappointed with shipping. This was the first product I purchased online and had shipped to a Wal-Mart store. Perhaps it's always like this but 9 day to ship to a store seems a bit much to me. I would have purchased this at the store if they carried it but I could not find it at ANY local Wal-Mart (there are at least 30 in the city and surrounding areas where I live).

The light is fairly bright. I wish I could actually use it in the pool. There is nothing in the description that states the light will not work in a steel pool. It will hold in place but not light up. If you have a rubber pool I recommend the light. If you have a steel pool don't waste your time, money and gas. I will return it tomorrow.

This was a great buy, the light is surprisingly bright. It lights the whole pool and out of the box to light on took 5 min. Super easy. Only thing that would make it even better would be a light switch or timer. This is a simple plug in for light and unplug for light off.
