Kick back this summer with a terrific swimming pool. The complete above-ground pool set includes a 1,000-gph filter pump, ladder with barrier, ground cloth, and debris cover. The Intex pool filter pump is equipped with a ground-fault circuit interrupter, which is an added safety feature that shuts off the pump if electrical current is exposed to water. For quick and easy assembly of your on-ground pool, you can simply follow the supplied instructional DVD. Your swimming pool can be ready for water in just 30 minutes.
Would have been a great value if it had no hole. Had the pool 1/3 full when I noticed water from underneath. Ugh! Took forever to drain. Took pool back and called it a day.

Review 2 for Intex 14' x 48" Ultra Frame Swimming Pool
This pool was sooo easy to set up! it was a snap! literally. It just snapped together. It took me and my bestie about 1 1/2 hours to completely set it up (this included us reading the directions and sorting the parts). The only thing we needed a tool for (screwdriver) was for 1 piece of the ladder, the rest just snapped together. Kids haven't swam in it yet, but I know they are going to just love this pool!....Once the water warms up enough to swim, I will write a review to let you know how it holds up.

Love this pool so far in Coastal Georgia

Bought this 16x48 Intex Ultra pool last July online when they started marking them down. I actually bought the combo package that comes with the skimmer with long pole and the little vacuum. Put it up in Aug. Didn't get in it too much last year but I'm looking forward to much more fun in it this year. I left it up all winter but covered it with a tarp to keep leaves and debris out. Left the blow up pool chairs and beach balls in the pool so tarp could have a tent affect for the rain water and leaves to flow off as much as possible. Still had some pockets of water that I had to scoop out a few times. I did take the pool ladder out and put in corner of fenced in pool area. Ground not completely level so one end slops but no problems so far. I did invest in the salt water pump to add to the regular pump that comes with because I read so many positive reviews of maintenance and no chemicals to have to deal with. Have not regretted that purchase at all. I do need to invest in a better vacuum setup but just not sure which is the best and easiest. Suggestions would be very helpful. I have some pretty big trees that shed ALOT OF LEAVES so I was waiting for the March winds that carried on over into April died down so the trees would be done shedding their leaves. I'm about to pull the tarp off maybe this weekend if it will stop raining long enough so the water can start heating up. I haven't checked the thermomter in the pool as of yet. Really hoping to be able to get into the pool this Memorial Day long weekend which is only 3 1/2 weeks away. NO holes to deal with yet but I did go ahead and buy patching stuff when I bought the pool. I do have a bobtail cat that likes to walk around the top of the pool and was standing on the ladder drinking the water last year and have seen him on the tarp over the winter. Hopefully he won't put any holes in it. I think as I start using the pool I will splash him a few times to scare him away, not to harm him cause I LOVE my kitty. I consider myself lucky with this purchase as I did not run into the problems some other consumers have. Ladder is a bit unstable but once I learned how to manuver it I've been ok. Will look into building a small deck around the ladder. The Summer Escape filters that Walmart sells do not fit the intex pump that comes with this pool but I did find the intex filters at Lowes and I also ordered them online at Amazon.com. Hope to get a few years of enjoyment out of this pool. I would definetly recomend this pool.

Our experience with this pool has been horrible. I purchased this pool when it went on sale last fall. We went ahead a put pool up to let water begin warming but in the process we discovered countless number of holes in the liner. I understand that it sat in storage for about 8 months but the box was completely intact. These holes were obviously made by the manufacturing and not from us. Some looked like they had been burnt and several others were tiny pinpoint holes we discovered while putting water in. So we have already spent $20+ on hole repair kits and the swimming season has not even started. I would not recommend this to anyone.

BAD RUST

We had our pool up for four months and all beams were thoroughly rusted. If it had stayed up any longer, we probably would not have been able to take it down (at least until it collapsed) as the rust was going all the way through the beams. Poor production of beams--they should include more rustproofing. Called customer service and all they could say was it didn't seem right, but it was more than 90 days. It was fun while it lasted. Be warned! Check for rust before your 90 days are up!!

This product was great value for money. We have a small backyard, and the Ultraframe color helps disguise the size. Our family will enjoy this purchase for hopefully quite a few years.

The pool it's self is great. It was easy to put up, but after it was filled we found a major leak in the side wall so we had to drain it and make a claim so that we can receive a new pool. I hope It doesn't take along time to received the new one.

the only problem was that my pool came with a hole in one side, I found it after the pool was full with 3000 gallons and I can not drain it, I have to patch it my self. Cost me extra to buy the kit to fix it. Another is that the pool do not came with the vaccum and nest to clean, this an extra expenses.

Had a great time with the grandkids, who learned to swim and lost their fear of water.
Bought the Intex salt system too and would highly recommend it for use in conjuntion with this pool. I had no problems at all with water quality all summer long.

Second pool leaks too!

OMGish! I can't believe the second one leaks too!!! First pool got a leak after 6 weeks of use. Had to drain it (what a waste of water!!!and money for the water!!!) I was lucky to have a great store asst. mgr. who (as an exception since it was after their 30 day policy for a cash refund) gave me a store refund on a gift card (which of course I'm gonna use up pretty quick since I live in a small town which only has a Walmart). I bought a second pool, it was on sale so at least I saved $75, but now it leaks. This one leaks after only 2 months, the seam on the floor of the pool split. Walmart won't handle it this time, so I called Intex and put in a claim. They are going to send out a new liner (so we'll see how it goes dealing with the company). I am so vested in this pool, I'm gonna take the new liner and save it for next summer. I would not buy this pool again and I don't recommend it to anyone.

Buyer Beware

While the few weeks we had this pool up and running it was fun, however when we took it down 10 weeks later all the t-bar parts were terrible rusted. Some, rusted through.
I contacted Intex about this, and was told that they only have a 90 day warranty. When I contacted them it was day 92. Get ready for the worst Customer Service ever. I asked the customer service rep if the life expectency of the pool frame was 10 weeks she replied, "Well, I guess it is."
So, you decide if you want to throw your money away on this shoddy product.

Same problem here

Im having the same problem except I havent taken my pool down yet . I noticed the rust stains when I added the salt for the Intex Saltwater System that I purchased , so I blamed it on the salt . So Im wondering if you also have a Saltwater system . I didnt notice the rust until 2 days after I added the system .

I'll be honest. I thought this pool was going to hard to set up. It is not. It recommends 2 people, but I was able to set it up myself and start filling in less than an hour.
