Hi, the computer is working good, but I expected to to get the microsoft word office software included, also a software to burn videos on different formats, like, mp3,mp4,etc.

My old computer was slow and ten years old. The dual core processor caught my attention, but I don't really notice it. Surfing the web is ok at best. I'm no computer dude, but this leaves something to be desired. If you want a good computer, go for it. If you want a fast computer, keep looking.

Be careful about refurbs

Unfortunately, I was very excited when I saw this refurbished Dell online, and I love shopping with WalMart. Since it did not come with a monitor, we ordered a $90 monitor, which arrived recently. We just started up the refurbished Dell from WalMart today and it doesn't even LOAD Windows 7, with or without the CD. Basically, it turns on but then it just says "Autoconfig please wait" and stays black. I can move the mouse around, and that's it. No Windows desktop, nothing. I feel really stupid for having purchased a refurbished tower. Never again, or at least not from here.

The computer will not turn off all the time. It comes on during the night and whenever. I called the number to find out what to do and there was a 52 minute wait on the phone with 14 callers ahead of me. I would like to have a shorter wait on the phone.

bought this online and the video card is bad.Now I have to drive 30 miles to the nearest walmart to get money back and reorder a different computer. This means another 2 weeks without a computer. What a disappointment. Do NOT recommend buying refurbished computers for here.

the machine I saw advertised said 64 bit, 4 meg ram. Try calling Joy Systems and lines are always busy. I may just take it back. Still a fair price with 2 meg ram and 32 bit, but I paid for something better!
