This tv has fantastic sound. The color is good after you balance out all the tints, brightness etc. The dvd player doesn't make a sound while running. Can't say anything bad about it. Once I tried it out, I almost decided to keep it even though I bought it for a gift.

Great price, disappointing picture, terrible sound

I will admit the main reason I bought this TV was the price. The built-in DVD player is great but that is about where it ends for this TV's pluses. I fiddled with the picture adjustments for roughly 20 min (which is normal for me) to get it dialed in but no matter how much time I spent on the audio there was no satisfaction. Even though there is an EQ adjustment, which I found amazing that a TV so small would even offer I could not find an acceptable timbre. After I finished the set up I sat down to watch my first movie and noticed that the brightness would fade in and out as much as 20% roughly every 30 seconds. I thought it was maybe just the DVD so I changed it for another one...same result. I then switched to watch TV and got the same thing. It was just annoying enough to make your eyes hurt by the end of a movie, sporting event, or a few shows. I have given the unit 3 weeks hoping I would become used to the strobing and am now on my way to return it. Maybe this was just a lemon but Samsung is having a sale this week (less than the Sansui) so I'm going to switch.

We purchased this for our camper, as we wanted one with the built in DVD player, and it is hard to find an LED flat screen with built in DVD player--this one has been fabulous! Clear picture, mounted easily--light enough in weight to go on a short closet door, so it can be out of sight when not being used.

Love this tv with the built in DvD player ...I needed a TV for my bedroom and this size worked perfect...Love the way the DVD player is hidden inside the side of the tv taken up little room and easy to switch from tv to dvd...differently a A plus here ...very happy with product and price ...
