I bought this desk and hutch and the matching lateral file because i liked the way they looked. There were scratches and missing pieces on the desk and the hutch and the lateral file. Customer service was prompt and helpful but this is particle board and cheap quality for the money. It looks nice but be careful not to scratch it. It isnt even veneer, it is covered in thin plastic and it is VERY time consuming and difficult to put together. I am keeping the desk because it does look nice but i sent the file cabinet back to walmart. Save your money and get something thats made out of real wood!
