So far, so good,

Before I give my opinion, I should stress that I only recently purchased this grill and have only used it once so far. It's true test will be for our tailgate in Blacksburg on Nov 6th, when Maryland comes to town. So far, so good. I grilled some brats on it a few days ago. I had plenty of room, it cooked evenly and quickly. Cleanup was simple and took no time, but as w/ cookware and other stuff, it's best to do it soon after cooking, makes the job easier. Using water in the water pan really helped w/ cleanup below the grill. I don't really like the way the gas regulator is set-up and a few other parts of this grill seem very cheaply made, but overall I like the design. One of the people we tailgate w/ has the earlier generation of this (the red one), which seems heavier and more cumbersome. The stand: Pros- seperate and easy to setup or move. Cons - the fact that it's seperate worries me about someone knocking it over or breaking it when trying to move it if they don't realize the grill and stand are seperate. I plan on getting the extra grill/griddle and the stove units for using pans (we do alot of breakfast tailgating and like to use pans for this or for chili). Note that while you COULD use the grill and griddle for pans, this will void your warranty. Also, if you plan to travel far w/ this grill, it might be nice to get a bag for it. I'll be getting one soon. One of the guys who has a tailgate right next to ours has this grill and he drives several hours for the games. He said having the bag helps avoid having your whole car smell like whatever you cooked on the grill for the whole drive. I will review this again once I've had it for a while and learn more about likes/dislikes w/ this model.

Quick assembly, easy to clean and compact. This was a great addition to our camping equipment.
The grill can be used with or without the stand (for table top use).
The stand is not the sturdiest, but not terrible for being portable.

I bought this grill for our family in anticipating of using it camping next year. Until then I have grilled a number of things on it for home and have been completely satisfied.
Comes with one grill plate and one griddle (flat) plate. I have since ordered an additional grill plate and the cookpot adapter. Also the adapter hose for a large Propane tank.
I find cleanup to be very easy. The grill plates are aluminum with teflon coating. Being aluminum, they cool down by the time we are done eating (say, 30 minutes). By then I can bring them into the sink and wash with warm water and dish soap; they still look like new after using them a dozen times. The drip-pan is much easier to clean if you fill it with water (as recommended in the instructions).
Bought with site-to-store for free shipping. Took a couple weeks to arrive, but was very easy to pick up.

We bought this grill because we wanted something portable and easy to use. This grill was extremly easy to put together, mainly just take it out of the box and snap a few components together. The most difficulty I had was taking it out of the box! For home use we bought an adapter so we can use a larger propane tank, but love we can use smaller propane bottles for on the road. I would highly recommend this grill. It would have been nice to have had two each of the griddle and cooking racks come with the grill, but since there is usually only 2 of us, it's grill cooking area is big enough. The stand would be easier to move around if it had wheels. Lights very easy! If your needing something smaller and portable this is the grill to get.

This grill is great! We took it camping and everyone that saw it wanted it! It's all you need, not necessary to have a grill and a camping stove. We grilled burgers and were able to make coffee and cook bacon. The fact that there is a grill and a griddle side is excellent. I do plan to buy an additional grill piece because it is small, though I have a small family and it is fine for us. We also use it as our home grill. It's completely portablr, though a little heavy. You can put it on the legs or use it on a table. I would recommed it!!

Purchased this product for the families Travel Trailer. It's compact and fits perfectly in the storage compartments under the trailer. The Coleman RoadTrip performed exceptionally well on our first trip with the grill. We cooked T-Bones, Chicken Breasts, Hot Dogs, and Brats with no problems. The grill evenly distributed the heat throughout the cooking surface. The only down side was the grill comes with one side as a griddle and the other side as a grill. I would prefer two grill sections with the option to purchase the griddle. The unit is a bit pricey ($180 +) but well worth it when you use it. I will probably purchase a second grill section ($25 +) to make the Coleman RoadTrip a fully functional grill.

I've used this grill a few times from hot dogs to chicken breasts w/bones and steaks. Everything has come out perfect. It is easy to use. A little heavier than I thought it would be but the benefit of the grill and griddle make it worth it. Easy set up and easy to clean. You can't use a metal scraper but with the nonstick surface a little soap and water works fine. I think the price is a little high because you need to buy all the extras. Extra grill, Travel case w/wheels, extra gas hook up. But grills works well.

We bought this grill/stove as part of our camping supplies. (We are new to camping and needed to invest in a cookstove) We didn't want just a grill though. We looked over many options and came back to this Road trip. When we saw all the great accessories and could be purchased and make it more versatile, we were sold. So we bought the accessories with it: two stove grates, a griddle pad, and the carrying case. We also purchased a hose and adapter so this connects to a full tank of gas that you would normally use when cooking/grilling out at home. Clean up was easy. Transport and taking apart was great. We were the envy of the other campers in our group. I could cook eggs on one burner while using the griddle pad to cook up some sausage. It was a dream! I highly recommend this outfit!!!

I have had this grill for about 5 years and wish, I'd purchased two at the price I paid 5 years ago. I was able to use it for my daughters school and cooked for about 100 students. It was very easy to manage cooking hot dogs and burgers. I cleaned it right on the spot and was ready to return home.

I bought the bbq thinking the size was good and since its a colman the parts/quality should be good. The size was resonable. The quality is bad. After one use, the BBQ will never look the same. The pans around the burners are poor and will rust. I have cleaned my endlessly and was still not happy with how it looked. I purchased a Weber Q and what a difference. The Weber Q looks and cooks better. The price between the two is very similiar.

Grill is not cumbersome to move around. The top half comes right off so that you can set the grill part asside, place the stand portion of it where you want it and then go back and get the grill section. Barbaque your hamburger on the left side while the buns are warming up on the right side. Overall, its the best grill I have ever owned. My only complaint is the price. It should be priced around $120.00. Theres not much to it.

This is a good grill but at 20,000 BTU don't expect the performance of a 40,000 BTU grill. Purchased it primarily for the portability but with an adapter hose, it can also serves as your primary grill. I recommend the purchase of the propane hose adapter, a large propane tank, an extra grill grate and travel case.

This is a nice grill for the camper or tailgater that wants to carry it in the trunk, yet have a full size grill on hand. The compact feature is nice for packing. It is easy to assemble and take down. The griddle and grill features are nice to have for an entire meal or just a quick snack. Don't expect to be able to cook for an army in one setting, it is not that large. Being able to connect to your trailers lp tank saves having to carry an extra one in the trunk also. I feel it is well worth buying and would consider it a great gift for another grill friend.

This is a very handy grill, easy to set up and take down, and that includes the propane bottle. I bought this grill after considering a recommendation by another customer, and found the review to be true to the product. The non-stick surfaces make this grill extremely easy to clean up, including the lid and side shelves. The stand folds and unfolds easily, but the grill itself may be used safely on a table. Traveling and camping with this grill is a breeze due to its light weight. Like the reviewer I referred to, I kept the box for traveling. I highly recommend this grill for anyone who does not want the bigger models or who do some camping. In spite of it being smaller, there is plenty of space for cooking steaks, dogs, burgers - you name it.
