A little big for newborn sizing but that is fine by me because he will get a little more use out of it. My son is 8lbs 4ounces and it fits good. Was a little big on him when he first wore it and was just hitting the 7lb Mark. It is buttons as opposed to zippers but not so many that its confusing.

I have trouble fitting my son into the right sized clothes because he is a little long. I have seemed to find that the carters brand is made a little longer in the legs and ALWAYS fits my son perfect! This sleeper is so cute and soft it perfect!

It's great quality. I like the soft, warm fabric. It's such a cute sleeper. It also washes well. The snaps can be hard to do when I'm really sleepy changing a diaper around 3AM though.
