The integrated FM traffic receiver also includes hands-free Bluetooth speakerphone, JPEG picture viewer, world travel clock, currency converter, and measurement converter. Nice unit and I like the free updates. Although I have yet to figure out how to get the traffic information or the traffic updates. Its not a simple process. Love the display, the information on the screen, and the voice prompts. The map is easy to see and it shows the streets "before" you pass them - giving you time to turn. My old GPS showed the street AFTER I passed it which was a pain...

I have purchased this GPS 2 weeks back and used the device with in the city. i could able to see the features specified in the manual except junction photo real view.i could able to check this once i make a long trip. it updated with 2013 maps and city navigator and traffic . i registered the device with Garmin. it is displaying traffic camera locations also. As of now device is working as expected need to see some more days how Refurbished item will work . This is my first refurbished device. it looks like brand new when i opened the package.

This is my second Nuvi. On the surface it looks like it works, but when I chose to spell a destination city or street, some of the numbers or letters I touched were either ignored or activated a different letter. This appears to be a hardware problem with the touch screen. Since Walmart.com is now sold out of this model, I get to deal with Garmin. Such is the risk with buying a refurbished model, sometimes you get someone else's problem.

I recommend tomtom for ease of use. Garmin nor tomtom are perfect. But tomtom has lost satellite connections on me especially at specific route changes.
I still recommend the tomtom over the nuvi. It is much easier to navigate when entering destination info.
Garmin Nuvi does not satisfy my needs when entering info. It is repetitive on the process.

I have been shopping for years, but the value of this refurbished Garmin nuvi1390LMT is exceptional. The automatic traffic routing along with lane assist and junction view make this unit oen of the best. The addition of lifetime maps continues to pile on the value.
It has an easy interface and I simply include it in my scan of the car's instrument cluster.
While it does have features technically challenged individuals may find confusing, most will love this feature rich GPS.

My wife and I bought the same model over 3 years ago. It was very handy, unfortunately the power port became unreliable, wouldn't charge, had to hold it with both hands and a rubber band in order to get it to charge or connect to the computer. A repair estimate was over $100 so when I saw a refurbished unit for 89.95 I jumped on it. No problem with computer map updates or charging now.

I am very happy with this product- the only clue that it is refurbished is the sticker on the box- it looks brand new! all the cables and documents were in the box ( wrapped and sealed) and i managed to get my lifetime maps with no problem.
registration of the product online was easy.
My garmin shipped to my store within 2 days even though Walmart said it could take a week so i was VERY pleased with this!
the Bluetooth feature is also very handy.

It worked fine, until few days back. Now it wont power on !
Checked Walmart.com to see if I can return, I crossed the 90 days. 109 days to be precise.
Am yet to call Garmin. I guess refurb product carries only 90 days warranty, so I doubt if Garmin would help.
Saved $25 from new when I bought refurb. But wasted $80 now. Wish I had bought new :(.

I bought two refurbished Garmin 1390LMTs around Christmas, one for myself and one for my parents. I have a Garmin nuvi 200 and I wanted to upgrade to a better model. In setting up the GPS for my parents, I noticed that the touch screen didn't work properly. It often failed to record a touch, or it selected an adjacent key, instead of the one I touched. Because of Walmart's extended return policy, I kept the defective Garmin for several weeks, hoping I would get used to its idiosyncrasies. It didn't happen. Ultimately, I returned it and I have been waiting about a month for it to come back in stock. Now I am ordering two and hoping to get one good one that I can keep.

Sent this to my daughter on the west coast for Christmas. She couldn't get the updates loaded and the touch screen didn't work appropriately. I told her to return it to Walmart and get one that works. Still waiting to hear how that goes for her. It would have been a good deal if it had worked out of the box. At this point, I would not recommend, we'll have to see how Walmart treats her.

This Garmin has a great user interface, and makes adding a Bluetooth speakerphone to your car a breeze. Make sure to look for a Garmin product with the lifetime map updates because otherwise they can get pretty expensive.
I liked this so much that I got one for my wife's car too.
