My 4 year old son absolutely loves this! First his joy came from putting it together, which my son (who plays with legos a lot) was able to do with minimal guidance from me. Now, 3 weeks later, he still loves playing with the characters. My son likes to have batman and catwoman play together (he thinks they are friends). It's also nice that the pieces can be easily interchanged. My son loves to have batman "share" his "jet pack" with catwoman. And in turn, have catwoman "share" her motorcycle with batman. We have put together many many lego toys and I would rate the price to enjoyment ratio as one of the best for my son's age.
