Works great. I have only had it about a month but seems like it will last. The sound is good also

Review 3 for Philips Cassette Adaptor
A+ 5* Great quality and value

Tested in GMC XM/Syrius cassette deck. Easy to use & great sound quality. With site-to-store free shipping, this is the best value of the high quality ipod-ipad-mp3 to cassette adapters.
This inexpensive device is easy to use and seems to work fine. The head alignment appears to be within the proper parameters and the sound quality is good. One should exercise a reasonable degree of care when handling, inserting, and storing the device as it is made of plastic and is not the most rugged thing in the world, but it does the job. The cord is plenty long and its position is re-locatable based on your needs. Directions are clear and complete.

Works great in Inifiniti i30. I don't bother with the CD player anymore because the sound quality from my mp3 is way clearer, crisp and I am loving the bass! No static or interference just clean smooth sounds. Plus, you can't beat the price.
My teenager plugs his smart phone into the cassette adaptor to listen to the music on his phone. Suddenly his old car isn't so bad to drive after all!

Not better than Scosche Cassette Adapter

I used both this and Scosche iPod Universal Cassette Adapter. In Scosche iPod Universal Cassette Adapter the sounds are more loud and digitally correct. But with this the sound quality is average.

Horrible cassette adapter.

Bought this cassette player. I expected it to work fine but when I put it in and played music, it distorted the music so much that it was irritating. We went and bought the more expensive Monster one and that one works GREAT! This Phillips one is the most horrible cassette adapter I have ever bought.
This adapter works extremely well, especially for the money! Great bass response and treble highs make it well worth the money. I highly recommend it!

Review 10 for Philips Cassette Adaptor
Way better than FM modulator

I have an FM modulator but was getting interference from local stations. When driving on trips it was even worse. The adapter works great and the wire can be hidden behind the faceplate. The only negative is if there is a long silence it will think it is at the end of the tape and start seeking and I will have to reset it (happens very seldom).

Review 12 for Philips Cassette Adaptor
works great after years of use

This has lasted for years without a problem. I've kept it in my car, and it's held up nicely against extreme hot/cold temperatures. Heck, the only bad thing I can say about it is that the label peeled off - no big deal. I gave it to a friend and bought another cassette adapter - a different brand for less money - which I now regret because the wire on the cheaper one is already causing me connection problems. I definitely recommend this one from Philips.

Review 13 for Philips Cassette Adaptor
Too inexpensive not to try it

For an in store price of under $10.00, I couldn't afford not to try this product. The Wal-Mart associate said I could bring it within 15 days if I didn't like it and the product packaging details a 1 year limited warranty from the manufacturer. To my surprise, it works wonderfully with my IPod Touch 4th Gen and car cassette player. I don't have to deal with my earphone cords getting tangled in my seatbelt anymore. The cassette is black and so is the audio jack cable which is integrated into the cassette. Pop in the cassette and plug it's audio cable into the audio jack on the IPod, then turn on your cassette player. Now the audio from the IPod (music, audiobooks, podcasts and Netflix movies) plays through my car's stereo speakers, so I can adjust the volume like I would for a cassette tape. My legacy audio system has new life! I recommend this product.
