Bought this to replace our old one (different type) that food began to stick too. Its much deeper than the one we had, and the pour spout in one corner is very convenient. Cooks evenly and cleans up easily. So far we like it very much and use it all the time.

Used it for first time over weekend. One of the nicest features is how it cooks evenly. Would not purchase this from the selling point of being a Foldaway as you still have the lid you have to do something with, but the unit works well and is way less expensive through Walmart than through other locations I saw online.

I first received an electric skillet in 1966 as a wedding gift and, since that time, I've never been without one. This skillet is bigger than most and easy to store. I cook food in big batches so I can freeze portions for use when needed and this skillet cooks hamburger, chicken and other meats evenly. None of the electric skillets I've had in the past ever stopped working, so I think it's one of the best buys you can ever make. I've always had to just "retire" mine because of age and the toll excessive use had taken on their looks. I can't image anyone not being satisfied with this skillet.

I HAVE OWNED MANY ELECTRIC SKILLETS IN MY DAY. HOWEVER, THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER USED. CLEAN UP IS SUCH A BREEZE AND NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRIED, I COULD NOT GET THE BIGGEST MESSES TO STICK TO THIS PAN. IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNY AND EVERY HOME SHOULD HAVE THIS PRODUCT. need to have in stores....hated paying postage when I have a store nearby....but absolutely love the skillett....the size is perfect for our family and I like to cook extra and save it....my daughter saw it and is going to get one also....price was much cheaper online than the stores (non Wal Mart) that did have them in stock...having the removable skillet is a big plus....would strongly recommend this to anyone.
