Whether you like to grill burgers, dogs, veggies, ribs or sausages, you will rediscover the joy of outdoor grilling with this attractive, full-sized two-burner gas grill. This red propane grill has a total cooking surface of 380 square inches, a warming area of 170 square inches, and a convenient side burner. It also features With 40,000 BTUs, this barbeque grill is ready to help you grill up your favorite barbequed treats to juicy, succulent perfection.
I ordered my on-line and picked up at the store. If you buy in-store assembly is free- I would recommend taking advantage of that!
Assembly- They do everything to make this easy. Instead of screws and nuts, they have the threads in the parts any you just have to insert the screw. The hardware comes on a vacuum sealed card labeled as "A" or "B" So you can easily ID which screw is which. The important parts (like burners) Are pre assembled. THe only thing that is lacking is the instructions. The instructions are just line drawings with arrows pointing to screws telling you this is a "B" screw etc. I wasted a LOT of time trying to figure out which legs to mount where until I realized that the screw holes on line up one way.
I even comes with tools. Of you want to call them that. My advice is to look for that old open end wrench that came with that Jap dirt bike you used to have rather then trying to use their "tools" Mostly you just need a 10mm open end and a Philips screw driver. I put this together in about 20 min. using a Rat-a-tat-tat. (Thats what my brother calls an battery powered impact driver) If I did another I could do it in half that time, but I would have two drivers-one with the 10mm socket and one with phillips tips. Some of the bolts with take a 10mm wrench or a #3 bit. I would guess that the average home owner would invest about an hour and a half using hand tools to put together the first one.
I was a little disappointed to find this was NOT a "40,000 BTU grill" Its really a 30,000 BTU grill with a 10,000 BTU side burner. I really think they should advertise it more clearly, This is done on purpose to make you think its hotter then it really is.
The big disadvantage of putting this together yourself is that you realize how cheaply this is made. All the parts are cheap stamping and the fire box is thin steel with what appears to me to be a powder coat finish.
This uses a battery for lighting the burners. The grills I had in the past hat the battery-less "Pizzo" starter. I din't think I would like this because you have to replace batteries, but believe me it is so much better. When you push the botton, you get multiple sparks that light the burners first time every time.
I like having the temp gage as it lets me know when the grill has pre heated to the proper level. Mine takes 7 min to reach 600 (both burners on) Like most cheap grills the heat is mostly in the center of the grill. That OK with me because I can more the "rare" burgers to the out side of the grill why the crispy critters are in the center.
The main reason I wanted a LOT of heat is that I uce my grill year round. Below freezing out? no problem- I still use my grill and just adjust the cooking times. The Michigan "spring" gave me several chances to use this in below freezing windy weather. Of course pre heat takes a little longer (And I only wait for 500) I do have to use both burnes with the top closed and the meat comes out great! When the weather is warm it only takes about 5 min to pre heat and I use a much lower heat setting. One thing that threw me off at first is the the valves work "Backwards" from what I'm used to. "HI" is where you first turn it on, and rotating to the legt (Counter clockwise) turns the burners down. I use a product called GrillGrate which makes you cheap grill act like an Infera red grill. It is basically an anum. plate that sets on top of the grill. The first grill I bought (a week before I bought this one) did not get these grills hot enough in clod weather- this on work fine and I have cooked with it down to 28 degrees.
My summery: This is cheaply built- I don't expect it to last more then 3 years but I will be more careful to paint any chips to make it last as long as possible. The grill get HOT and can be used in any weather. I highly recommend you have it put together free at the store. I would buy another of this exact grill if someone stole it and the insurance company gave me a check to replace it.

Bought this less than a year ago because my parents said what a great price it was. I should have just saved my money for a better grill. It took hours to put together. The stickers did not want to come off, and one sticker on the inside of the lid did not come off at all. So once I started the grill, it burnt...so now I have burnt paper on the inside of my grill. The grates are horrible. They lift and bend when they are heated. The heat is very uneven. I am at present looking for a new grill.

what a great grill for the money ... assembly easy but a slow build ... burns extreamly hot so you must use guage until you get the feel of it ... i now grill most eveything at a very low knob setting ... tis the best $99 buck grill i ever bought and the only one that had a side burner ... go for it !

It took some times to assemble and diagram was confusing but with help it took about an hour to assemble. Other than that its the perfect size for my apartment patio. Nice cooking area and love the fact that it had a side burner for those times that I might be cooking spicy food so I can cook outside and it wont smell. Make sure you buy a grill cover with it to preserve.

The grill was fairly simple to put togather (look at the instructions before you start.) I had good food results cooking on one burner are both burmer. Grill was reasonable because it has 2 burners and side burnier.

Brought it home and assembled it in about 1 hour. The only thing that did not work on the grill from the beginning was the ignitor switch. Called the company and they quickly sent me a new switch and it works perfectly. Grill does great, we have even grilled potatoes on the grill and it does a great job. I would highly recommend this grill to anyone. Also, it is very easy to clean the grill grates.

This grill is really a good piece of engineering. It went together smoothly and all the holes lined up. Its really nice to have all the holes threaded so you don't have to mess with nuts for the bolts It took a couple of hours to put together. The only thing I wish it was made in athe US with US Steel instead of China. Thank

I am not pleased with this product at all. When we took it form the box we found the lid to be twisted and the paint was chipped off in several areas. Takes for ever to heat up even with both burners going full fuel. Do not waste your money. Wal mart needs to get rid of this manfacture.

The grill has great cooking space and is easy to clean up. We regret not having walmart build it for us for free. It was not terribly difficult to build, but it was time consuming. We have not used the side burner yet,

After reading many reviews, I chose this grill for my wife and I. I am a disabled Engineer with mobility problems, yet was still able to assemble about 60% of this grill unassisted, my wife helped complete it the next day. Enjoyed grilled chicken and portabellos about an hour after completion! As an inexpensive grill, don't expect high end features, parts are made cheaply but functionally with replacements available to order. With a little care and maintenance, this grill should last a long time. Plenty of heat, 400 degrees and easy to use features, igniter and controll knobs, makes this grill a great choice. Comes with a handy screwdriver and wrenches for assembly, I suggest using your own tools as the wrenches provided fit poorly, and use vice grips to hold the axle while tightening the wheel nuts. Enjoy a great little economy grill!
