the porch swing was going to replace a similar item purchased 14 years ago at Fortunoff. In 14 years the price went up only 16 dollars, for which "a great kudos to Walmart"! It still sits 3 comfortably, the top 'pillow' is still removable (so i can take it in when it rains, and not have to wait until it dries out to be able to sit again); the canopy is still adjustable... everything I was looking for is still there, except the color! this one is a brownish green, horrible! while the other one was in bright stripes(I chose white and green). This color looks like winter, sticks out like a thumb, and it is truly unpleasant. Why couldn't they give us a choice of covers, or chose one color more appropriate for the porch or garden than this brown, I don't know!?! But next season , when I will have to replace the fabric of the canopy( it usually dries out and tears away after one or two summers of unrelenting 90 degrees), I will choose one more to my liking! BTW, I do store it in the shed over the winter, so I can't say how sturdy would be if it sat outside ALL the time.

Took a chance and purchased this online without seeing and I couldnt be happier with this swing. Hubby is a big boy so we were getting frustrated shopping around for sturdy and affordable - and this is the swing! Both of us, (and the two pomeranians) fit quite nicely, without sacrificing comfort.

Beautiful swing. One suggestion....don't put it together yourself. Much easier with some help. Nice looking, sturdy and comfortable.

I ordered my swing site to store. Picked it up 2 days before Mother's Day. Had to hide it in the garage for two days. On Mother's Day my 16 year old daughter and I assembled the swing in one hour. The instructions are excellent and precise. All the hardware is laid out and labeled on a sealed plastic piece of cardboard. It was just so simple to put together I couldn't believe it. My wife loves it. My 4 year old grandson and her spend hours in the swing while she reads to him. Very worth the money.

I was very satisfied with this swing. There is only one drwaback that we found while assembling the swing, the parts are numbered in red on clear background labels, very hard to read, against the dark frame. Since the labels were easily peeled off, why not white instead of clear? Just a thought. Other than that, the swing sits in my front yard, with my husband a frequent occupant
