This is the second purchase of a Touch iPod for great-grandchildren. The recipient of the first one shared hers so her cousin asked for one as a birthday gift. Research seemed to indicate that the 4th generation iPod was a better choice for all its features and handling ability. I chose the 32 GB to maximize storage of photos and music. It is sturdy, color display is great, options and apps are varied and immense. The kids love it and it facilitates keeping in contact with their social group (and family).

We purchased this for my daughter's 9th birthday! We decided to go with the 4th generation because we've been told that repairs to a 5th generation would cost more than the device! My daughter is absolutely loving it! It has everything she needs and more!

We bought this iPod bundle for my granddaughter, she saved her money for this item and was almost there, so we decided to pay the balance so she could get her wish. Sheis extremely happy and has
made a promise she will only use it after her schoolwork is completed. So far she is keeping her promise. The cost from Walmart was much better than the apple store and we are pleased with the purchase.

My younger daughter has wanted an Apple Ipod for quite some time. I used it as an incentive for her to do better in her school work and chores at home. This Ipod does almost everything and she loves it - the games, music, apps, camera, etc. I purchased an I-tunes card for her so she could download apps that cost. The set-up is a little time consuming but once it starts to work its great. This product is well made and will last well through high school and college. Older daughter got one to use for college to record lectures and she couldn't live without it. Now my son also wants one! Even for the price they are worth it as they last and there is nothing on the market that compares to it.

Had 8Gb memory filled up fast.i jumped to 32Gb does not seem to maneuver well or as fast.maybe its me but I am finding it to be more of a problem.

I am satisfied with this product for the most part. I just wish that I was able to put all the music I had from my previous mp3 player to the ipod. Most of the music I had was able to go onto the Ipod. For first time user I did not know how to use it but after looking through it I was able to manage and learned how to use it almost right away. I like having this product over all. The good thing that I like about it is that I have more storage now and am able to get more music that I want, play games on it, or what not.

Overheats and will stop working in mins, drains battery, shipped in big box with only brown paper to protect it, delicate and screen will break easily, must have a protective case such as a otterbox to prevent the screen from breaking, works slower than the previous gen same gb. Screen is better quality, picture is great quality, sleek design, better software then previous gen, more setting options then previous gen.

I'm not crazy about Apple products, but I do insist on having an iPod. This one replaces one that I have used for many years, but in typical Apple fashion, there are new features that aren't available for my old one. And yes, I update the software regularly, but there are features that aren't available for my old player and may never be. That is my beef with Apple. As soon as you buy something it is obsolete and a new "generation" is in the works. I buy most of my music through Amazon, and I sprang for a new iPod because it let me download the Amazon CloudPlayer and listen to my music I bought through Amazon. So now I have my Apple music and my Amazon music all together in one place, and that makes me a happy camper.

I purchased this for my teenage son after his last one broke. He loves it. Lots of apps & can use it to text without a monthly fee. He has been using it for over a week and not had any problems even with using it 24/7. I would recomend buying a sturdy case to put it in. The griffin survivor case has already saved it when dropped.

When I ordered the iPod touch it was to arrive in 5-7 days and showed up on my porch in 4 days! I would reccommend ordering and having home delivery. The only thing that confused me was if I were to pick it up in the nearest Wal-mart it would arrive in 7-9 days but if I wanted it to be home delivered it would arrive in 5-7...so why wouldn't I just have it delivered to my front door at free shipping in shorter time. Hmmmm!
