Review 1 for Magic Chef Glass Bowl Convection Oven

This convection oven is equal in quality to the Sharper Image units ($99). It's identical, and for fraction of the cost. Also, very comparable to the NuWave Oven ($129). I have used it for fish, chicken, and vegetables. Food is very moist and NO FAT! Love it! The glass base is very impressively sturdy.

I have an Infa Chef which looks EXACTLY like this Magic Chef ... so I think mine is a knock off from Magic Chef ! Still it works Great and I am buying my Brother the REAL THING , because I LOVE these convection ovens !! We tried the plastic bowls and they do Not stand up to the heat ... ONLY GLASS !! Thank goodness for all the PLUS extras from MAGIC CHEF ... Everyone should have one !!!

i am returning this oven, it didn't meet my expectations at all when it come to cooking skillets and whole chicked, it gives a nice crisp from the outside but food would be still raw from the inside.

I have the Super Wave oven which looks just like this one and it works great. There are several reasons the dissatisfied customer does not like her oven. The first time I used mine, I did not turn off small electric heaters around the house and my chicken did not cook through. You can't have a bunch of stuff on while using one of these ovens. The other thing is, you have to get used to adjusting the times and temps. The next time, I cooked a whole chicken (over 4 pounds#), and it was fabulous. You have to rub it all over with olive oil, and then season with salt, pepper, and Hungarian paprika. Cut an onion in half and put in the cavity. Bake 30 minutes, then turn over and bake 30 more minutes on the low rack at 460 degrees. You will have absolutely perfect chicken...moist on the inside #and DONE) and crispy outside just like it looks in a regular oven.
