We had been looking around and was even going to redo the kitchen table we had, I saw this, and when I showed my husband he thought it would look good in our kitchen as well. Like other reviews the first table we received was damaged, had to reorder another one, but once we received our second table, it was wonderful! Everything and more than I expected. It truly is a great piece of furniture. And I highly recommend it. Better Homes and Gardens have quality stuff at great prices. You will not be disappointed, just have patience in case what you order is damaged. Even if it is, Walmart was great with the return!

Got the Better Homes & Gardens Autumn Lane Farmhouse black and oak table, chairs and bench for our daughter & family. It is a gorgeous set. The black with the oak sets it off and it is elegant looking. Richer looking than what we expected. Well built and the finish on the table is very nice. Her children love the bench and when they sit on it it is the perfect height for them to easily reach the table. I think all 3 children will be on the bench as opposed to the chairs. The price was very reasonable for the quality. We would highly recommend. Very, very satisfied.

I am a carpenter and frequently build furniture. This table blew me away as far as being something you can buy at Walmart! Incredibly well manufactured and extremely simple to assemble! Sturdy, REAL WOOD, and priced affordably for anyone's budget.
My main dislike was the fact that the top is finger jointed wood and is clearly visible through the finish, but that is common when the manufacturer is trying to create a cost efficient product. Also there were very minor imperfections created most likely during the process of being shipped to its holding center.
Overall the price is what gains your attention, my wife and I literally visited a half dozen big time furniture stores across the state and anything that is legitimate wood is at least 100 dollars more. The table deffintely seems bigger online, but its size is just right.
I as a professional craftsman, highly recommend this table to anyone who has a modern yet traditional taste and wants reliability!

This table exceeded my expectations. For a relatively cheap dining set (bundle of table + 6 chairs), I couldn't be happier with the product. The table, especially, was extremely easy to assemble. The chairs were a bit more difficult (getting all four legs to touch the ground at once was challenging) but overall not too bad. I highly recommend this set.

I love love love this table :) it is just as pictured and assembley is easy! The chairs were a little more complex than the table and bench but still easy! Came with all the tools needed :) only down fall is that the tables finish is very soft so it dents easily and scratches easily but that's with small children playing at the table for just regular use so far so good!

I purchased this set from Better Homes and Gardens for my dining room. Easy assembly, great quality solid hardwood, and looks terrific! I had to reorder the table, but only because the shipper damaged it which, of course, is not Walmart's fault. I love this classic dining set and would definitely recommend it to friends.

I was leary since it was shop inexpensive compared to "furniture" stores. However the name brand got me and I love it. I won't say it was easy to put together but it by no means hard. I gave up on the hand wrench and pulled out the electric drill with attachments.

I LOVE this table. I have three kids and they aren't very "easy" on the table. But this table and benches have held up great! I will say that the chairs are the best. I tighten the screws every few months because the come loose. But I can't say enough great things about how sturdy the table and benches are! GREAT BUY!

My ONLY complaint about this item is that they are charging more for it online. Its only 99.96 in the store (this is the regular price). So, I will give the product itself 5 stars. I planned to buy it online and thankfully I saw a review that noted the in-store price, I checked my local store and sure enough, it was only $99.96. The table is gorgeous and solid and sturdy. I love the farmhouse look but haven't been able to find something in this style to fit my small breakfast area, so I was very pleased when this table was the right style and size but still way under budget. I cant comment on the difficulty of putting it together because my husband did that, but I didn't hear any groaning or complaining, so that's a good sign!

Ordered this table, bench and chairs online and surprisingly, everything arrived undamaged. It was very easy to assemble and once set up, it looks beautiful. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was because the table top doesn't hold up well with little kids who like to bang there cars and trucks on it. Just beware that the wood top will ding pretty easily if something is dropped on it - like a metal toy car. Within 2 days, the end of our table already had little dings in it from our 2 year old. Personally, I don't mind...it will just have a "distressed" look. Just want other to beware that this may happen. Other than that, we love the table!!

It is solid wood, beautifully finished and very sturdy. I read the other reviews before I bought it, but was still skeptical. Now that I have used it for a couple of weeks and compared it to the tables I was considering that are similar, but priced at near $900, I am very happy with this table and would recommend it to my best friend. If I had a need for another one, I would not hesitate to buy another.

I had this shipped to my home. When it arrived, foot prints were all over the box and the box had holes/tears. Basically, table was not packaged/protected well and as a result the table was damaged. I returned it to the store. Turns out, they had the same table in my local store, exchanged it - got home and realized that table was damaged too. Went back - this time checked a 3rd table and it too was damaged. RIDICULOUS! Walmart is wasting money by not properly packaging their goods.
