Swiffer Swiffer WetJet Starter Kit

Doesn't work on my type of floor. Leaves streaks and does 'redeposit' the dirt on the floor. Maybe is just not for the type of Italian tiles this house has.

I was a little apprehensive with the assembly of this~ I expected a mechanical operation, but found it requires 4 AA batteries. But it's wonderful; makes mopping so much easier. I had been using a regular Swiffer and the pads wouldn't stay on, but this mop uses a different system and the pad stays securely on. The liquid dispenser is easy to use and smooth and accurate. The pad is thick and durable, and I can get more use out of one than the regular Swiffer pads. All in all, a great product for the price, and no squeezing out wet dirty mopheads!

The Swiffer is an awesome mop. I've used another similar mop, but a different brand. It broke within 2 months of purchase. The Swiffer is much sturdier. It uses 2 jet streams which makes it easier to mop a bigger area. It was really easy to change the bottle of cleaner too.

i did not like this product. water from the refill does not dry leaving marks if people walk on it leaving the users with no option but to wipe it again and yet again. this means buying new refills frequently. moreover this duster is unable to remove tough stains puts a lot of pressure on hands to rub the surface vigorously to clear it. does not get around in nooks and corners. i prefer humble O' Cedar mop at least it gives me clean floors.

It's not like I use the swiffer wetjet as a baseball bat. I mop. Like normal people mop. Not standing on my head, not with the dog riding on it. Why is it that twice now the handle has broken off??! I am not aware of any super human strength, though I am a Mom and sometimes would Like to use this as a weapon.. I love how the last question is - "Was this purchased as a gift?" I realize that it applies to so many things but really?! Great idea. I am now getting a third, just because there is not another brand out there that does the same thing yet and I hate regular mops. - I shall start giving swiffer wetjets as gifts.

i bought this item hoping i wouldn't have to use the traditional mop etc.. well, it started out ok, then it clogged up. haven't been able to unclog the little holes. doesnt really clean that well.

This is the second swiffer wet jet I have bought. The first one lasted about 5 years, then the handel broke, when my husband put a little too much pressure on it, but I am not complaining, when he is willing to help out and mop the floors. This really is a well made and designed product. If you are a little old fashioned and still wax your floors, as I do, it will work well as a waxer also. You just have to remove the cleaning solution, so you don't sqirt the floor by accident, and put a fresh pad on, get your liquid wax and your all set. It is light weight and does a great job in no time at all.

The water reservoir is too small to complete the whole mouth. Also there is no control for speed settings, only 2 water picks for pressure setting. I would of been happier with a standard water pik device. Not bad for the price, but not great either.

I recently wrote a review on this exact item, though sold in a different combination, the "Swiffer WetJet Spray Wood Floor Cleaner Starter Kit Mop". I gave it 1 star and did not reccommend it because it didn't work and I had to return it for exchange. I DID have to drive 60 miles round trip to the nearest WalMart, but I picked a day when I was going anyway, so it wasn't too bad. This is the one I exchanged it for and is exactly the same mop in a different package/combination. This is a great mop and now that I'm no longer mad about the first one being defective I love it.

My friend and I both purchased these around the same time, about a month or so apart. We both had the same problem....it only sprayed out one side and I use the term spray loosely. It dribbled out that one side.

The instructions are easy to read and understand and will teach the user to clean the floor with the Swiffer Wet Jet. Once you use Swiffer, you will wonder how did you ever live at home without it. Using Swiffer Wet Jet is so much better than a pail of water, chemical cleaner and the old-fashioned mop. The multi-purpose cleaner cleans all kinds of floors better than water and mop.
