Bought this as a replacement for a conair and philips hair trimmers. both were 10 + years old and blades broke. This is as good a replacement could find but at a fraction of cost to other models and had coupon for 2 day free shipping! Is some what quiet, blades dont get as close to skin as old broken models. Like to shave facial hair with trimmer before straight razor or electric to cut shaving time down, but this just doesnt go close enough. But this probably due to higher safety regulations than anything, and price more than makes up for it.

Great product for the price! It came with a hard case, combs, scissors, a plastic cape, oil, cleaning brush and several attachments. The actual trimmer is heavy and not cheap looking.

I had a Conair haircutting kit, which only had 1-4 sized comb (blade) guards. I searched online for a size 12 but Conair didn't offer one. So I ordered a Wahl guard. It didn't fit. Later I ordered this Wahl model & it came with sizes 1-6, plus an 8, plus side guards, scissors, cape, storage case AND a very good 5-year warranty! Plus it fit the comb guard! It works really well. It was also the only brand offering comb guards separately.

We purchased this to cut down on expensive haircut bills for my husband. I had never cut anyone's hair before but I watched a couple of tutorials online and was good to go. Very easy to use for anyone, and does a great job. I was deciding between this set of clippers and the other one that is color coded. I'm glad we chose this basic one. It has many different guides you can choose to customize the haircut. This thing has paid for itself many, many times over.

Well i haven't had it long so i may try and add something later to see how long it lasts. I do need a guide comb smaller than 1/8 because i still have to much hair. Works great youtube if you really want to know how to cut hair but definitily a great product for is value comes with everything you need or should depending on the person, except trimmer.
