Very wobbly and unstable. Before I finished putting this stand together it broke! All the round pieces that sit down in the premade holes came right through the partical board. There was no way to repair this. Useless! Threw $50 away.

We just found this in the store at walmart and LOVED the price of it. It's cheap so you can't really expect much from it. It's made of particle board, so I was a little skeptical at first. But, once we got it all set up it's extremely sturdy! I would recommend this to anyone on a budget looking for something sleek and sturdy.

This is a nice product, the picture looks much more taller and slimmer product. Assembly was slightly difficult, those circle locks could have better functionality. But it does look nice though.

Good value. Sturdy stand. One of the bolt locks partially broke when I was assembling it but other than that, it's a great value. It holds up to 90 lbs on the top shelf.

It serves it's purpose. A bit wider and shorter than I thought but otherwise it a nice tv stand. Rather easy assembly, but you must pay attention to which way you turn the pieces.

You get what you pay for. This stand is easy to assemble and does its job. The only complaint I have is that the surface chips easily showing the plywood looking structure underneath.

I bought this tv stand for my new apartment and when my boyfriend and I started to put it together it started to fall apart. The holes were not drilled properly so the pieces would not fit together. We through it back in the box and will be taking it back. There is no way that it could hold up to 90lbs. Very very disappointed!!!!!

I was looking for an inexpensive stand that would hold my 50 inch TV. I purchased this one because the other 50 inch and above TV stands were too pricey for me. I was looking for something that wasn't too bulky yet sturdy enough for my TV. It holds my TV perfectly and I am glad I gave it a shot. I would recommend this stand to anyone on a budget that likes nice things yet doesn't want anything too bulky. You will love this stand and it was easy to put together.

We bought this TV stand for our new 42" television and we couldn't be happier with it! It provides great support, looks good, and also has ample storage capacity. It easily fits our cable receiver, Xbox, and over 100 DVDs with some room to spare. The stand was easy to put together and didn't take long, especially compared to other assemblies we've experience with Mainstays products. Definitely an awesome purchase for the price (although we actually got it for about 10 bucks cheaper in-store)!

Poorly designed for home assembly with inadequate documentation. Difficult to assemble and resulted in a rickety piece of furniture which could not support the weight of a TV without considerable reworking and the addition of several braces and struts. I recommend staying very far from this item

It's exactly what I wanted and looks sooooo much better in person. Once you put it togther and really look at it with your tv, XBox, and Wii etc. on it, it looks like it cost around $300, REALLY! My store had it for $39.88. GOD is good and thanks Wal-Mart.

I read the reviews on this product before I bought and it seemed like a hit or miss so I knew I was taking a bit of a risk on this. Overall I think it looks really great in my living. I have plenty of room for my DVR, Xbox 360 and DVDs. The only problem I had however was with the assembly. Some of the holes didn't seem big enough for the screws and I had a hard time with that. For something that should have been easily assembled with a Philips head screwdriver, I was a little frustrated that I had to break out the cordless drill to get it together.

I got this for my 42inch tv. It holds perfectly. I did have some difficulty putting it together once I reached the top of the stand. You will definitely need to use some elbow grease for the screws that hold the shelves together. There's plenty of room for dvds, game consoles and whatever else you may use for entertainment. It's a good starter piece for someone just starting out or anyone on a budget.
