The RCA 1104-1BKGA Slim-Line Corded Telephone gives you the simplicity of model 1103, but has added features. This phone can be placed on a flat surface or it can be mounted on the wall. The model 1104 comes with Call Waiting/Caller ID capability. This phone also features a 10 number memory to save important phone numbers. The volumes of the handset and ringer are easily adjustable for your convenience. Flash and redial functions are also available features on this phone. This specific model works in a power outage and is also hearing aid compatible.

I didn't like the fact that when a call came in, it was difficult to read the number of the incoming call as it didn't light up, rendering the caller ID useless.

Decent low cost corded phone

For the price I feel it was hard to beat, did take a little bit to figure out how to do the + ,- to set it up via the menu.(hint look at the "Review button on the back of the phone) it has two arrows 1 left/right indented into the plastic button(s).
once I realized that set up was easy, It does take 3 AA batteries (not included) for the caller ID features/menu etc.

I was concerned before buying it that the buttons on the back would get hit or interfere with the phone during a call, ( my fat fingers and gorilla grip hands ... lol) And so far no problems at with that.
overall the phone feels solid the base unit stays on the table when I pick up the receiver. plus it comes with detachable cords for base/handset and from base to the wall jack.

Calls are very clear and plenty of volume to hear with a 4-way volume control.
Overall I am pleased with this phone good basic/ budget phone that is of a bit higher quality than what I was expecting.

This phone was just what I was looking for. I have an Internet phone company and use wireless through almost the entire house, but this one spot needs a 'wired phone'...and this is perfect for that spot, simple, not gimmicky and the price was right...a great 'wall phone'.
