reflecting telescope- no lens needed

this is a reflecting telescope- that means it uses a couple of mirrors. It isn't supposed to have a lens at the front.
Other than that, this is an average low/middle end telescope. The scope might be OK, but as usual with department store scopes, the accessories included is pretty useless. You probably dont want to go over 150x magnification with a scope this size. If you stick with the 8mm eyepiece, you should get OK images of the moon and some planets.

My Telescope was defective

I purchased the Vivitar Reflector Telescope and when I put it together, it came with no front lens. There was a cap over where the lens should also be but the cap did not pull or screw off. After battling with Vivitar's Customer service for about 4 days they are finally going to send me a replacement telescope. Walmart was great as to picking up the item from the store but I got shipped a telescope that someone did not put together correctly
