Not just for Apple Devices

You can dock Apple devices and control them with the remote. My son's iPod nano synced right up via the connection and he had full control with the remote... The Bluetooth option works great with Android devices and the remote also controls them as well when connected via Bluetooth. I have an Acer A500 & an Acer A100 tablet both with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and a Samsung Galaxy S III Phone with Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) They all sync up easily via Bluetooth and the remote is able to control all of them. There is also a line in for devices that do not have Bluetooth or don't have the apple interface. A computer headphone out can be hooked up to the line in... Its easy to use, can be used with a variety of devices and sounds great. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a speaker system for their devices! I purchased this as a birthday gift for my son and he loves it!

Im just starting to use it, maybe I should wait, but WOW does this sound great, powerful, deep sounds, all through house somehow. I wanted something with volume for the basement, but other speakers for IPAD were just not loud enough. Im very pleased. It sounds great to me, too.

I'm a studio recording guy so 5 stars takes A LOT for me. That being said, this is a great little device. Sounds much better than I expected. It really does have a bit of low end. Don't expect it to thump. I mean it's small, get real. It does sound really good for low volume listening. I first used it while painting my living room with a friend and it was great. Plenty of volume. The iPhone app is great too for EQ.Bluetooth does loose a little quality when listening to complex mixes, but works great for low volume classical type music. All in all I really like it. Oh, and it charges great and comes with a few rubber attachments to maximize the fit of your iPhone, iPad or iPod.

XtremeMac Tango TRX rocks!!!! This puts out the sound...the bass is awesome...I love the fact that I can control the bass and treble. The music is clear. This is a great sound system for the price!

My wife just wanted something to listen to her ipod while doing things around the house. This actually fills the whole room with nice sound. It sounds like we have a big stereo system on. It doesnt blast like a big stereo but it is loud enough to fill a room and we have a big room with 18' ceilings. Bass mids and treble all sound balanced and clear.

The XtremeMac Tango puts out a much bigger sound than you would expect from such a small box.
It can also play quite loudly, without distorting.
Don't expect it to sound like a full sized subwoofer/satellite system, but it is impressive considering it's size.
Put at least 50+ hours on this unit before evaluating it, as it sounds much better as it breaks in.
All electronics and speakers have a break in period, some longer than others.
I used a CD designed for breaking in audio components to speed up the break in process.
If you judge the XtremeMac right out of the box, you will be disappointed.
Break it in properly, and you'll be surprised at the full sized sound that comes out of this unit.
However, the remote is disappointing.
My remote had an intermittent connection with the battery.
Once I corrected this, the remote would work only if you were standing in a straight line with the XtremeMac.
If you were off at an angle, just three feet away, the remote would not work.
The design is very basic, and it's difficult to use the adjustments for volume, bass, and treble, as the only visual signs are a row of 5 leds that light up, and they react slowly, and sometimes not at all, making you think it did not receive a signal from the remote.
Also, if you unplug the unit, it defaults all settings back to minimum, and you have to readjust all your sedttings when you plug it back in again.
It's not really a portable unit; it has no handle to carry it, making it awkward to move around to different locations, and it has no provision for anything but AC power.
If you're like me, and want a set it and forget it iPod docking system, this unit is great, and outperforms a lot of other units in the same price range.
If you like to constantly play with the remote and settings, and get visual confirmation each time, the XtremeMac is not for you.
I put sound quality first, and everything else second, so the XtremeMac works great for me.

My husband bought this for our iPods, my iPhone & iPad. I connects seamlessly to both my iPhone & iPad via Bluetooth. I downloaded the free app, but haven't really used it much. The sound is amazing for such a small setup & can get really loud, unlike some of the small docks. The remote is a little picky, you pretty much have to be straight in front of the dock to get it to work; this is the reason I only gave it 4/5 for "Meets Expectations". Overall, it's a great dock, a little pricey, but worth it if you have a lot of "i" devices.

I bought this for the wireless bluetooth only, And after listening to it I went and got another. The price was good at just under 100.00 bluetooth paired with my phone very quick and easy. This radio sells on ebay for over 150.00
If you're looking for a small radio that packs a good punch this is for you. It has 2 mid's 2 tweeter and a sub on the bottom (If on a glass surface it sound better then on wood/carpet)

Excellent sound, easy to connect and use, can also use with any mp3 player (input headphone jack in back). Bluetooth lets anyone with a bluetooth phone easily connect to this and play their music. I'm not sure why, but when I tried to initially use my iPhone volume control, the unit did not have a lot of output watts, but when I installed the app (it automatically connects and downloads the app on iPhone), and selected "iPod" in the app, the output was much greater. The only thing I would add to this in the next model would be output jacks to add speakers for those who enjoy true surround sound, or to hook it to their current surround sound system. Light and easy to relocate, like taking it outside or in the garage. This is a purchase you won't regret. It's much better than you would expect. :-)

I purchased this and returned in within the same day. This device looks nice, and has great functions, but like a cell phone, if you don't have service then its not worth having. The Bluetooth range is extremely poor. Its great if you just wanna plug your device into it, but if you buy it for the Bluetooth capabilities, then you might wanna reconsider. I walked around my kitchen with the device 7 feet away in plain site and it cut in and out constantly. It dropped my Bluetooth connection every few minutes. Like I said, if you wanna plug a IPOD into it, GREAT but if you wanna use your phones Bluetooth capabilities with it, DON'T. I have an Iphone and it dropped the connection constantly.

I love the sound this thing puts out, sounds almost as good as the $300 Bose systems. I have an LG Marquee Android phone and this does pair perfectly with the blue tooth, I had no problems at all. So all of you asking will it pair with other devices, the answer is YES ! I am using Pandora on my phone and the remote will let me pause and skip songs.. I do not have an Ipad or an iphone to test this with but I do plan on getting one in the future. I would recommend this to anyone, you will not be sorry.

I have an iPad 2 and really wanted to have something to connect to for my music that was louder than the iPad speakers. It plays so much louder than I ever expected! Even better I just downloaded the app and went into settings on my iPad to turn on the Bluetooth feature! I didn't even have to put it on the dock! Worth the price!

My brother called me and asked me to drop by his house because he had something to show me. He had the ExtremeMac system linked with his IPad2 and upon my entry started playing music to let me see just how nice the system was. I was amazed that such a small unit could pack such a powerful sound punch. I sooooo enjoyed listening to the music and was so happy for him and said " I'm definitely going to have to get one for my parties this summer". He said" don't worry about it, that's why I got you one too." OMGGGGGG talk about thankful and excited. Needless to say that cut the visit short..lol...I immediately went home and hooked mine up and have been using it EVERYDAY since then. And I'm going to buy another on payday! House party time ;) you will not be disappointed WHEN you purchase this item ( Bose has nothing on it!)
