I would recommend professional install. The video works great heck for the money it all works great. I would buy another now that I have installation down pat. Sounds good with my other components. The only thing is the nav needs updated.

This is my review.
Bad points
1) It cannot display clock except under GPS mode;
2) The size does not fit most of the mounting hardware. You have to saw the vertical mounting hardware to enlarge the size in vertical to fit this thing;
3) In my poineer stereo, the display can be turned off. But lcd monitor on this thing is always turned on once you turned on the radio. You can only choose night mode or daylight mode;
4) Backup camera signal is not automatically detected. I have to connect the backlight signal all the way from the back to the front deck to to feed the backup signal.
5) The connector wires coming with it, is so flimsy. Several wires just loosely attached to the connector hardware. I had to super glue it to make it firmly attached.
6) No way to attach the steering control interface to this thing. Because there is no such wire to interconnect to the radio.
Good points
1) GPS picks up signal pretty quick. The GPS works very well;
2) Bluetooth works very well. But it does not have contact information synched. But it's not a big problem.
Overall, I don't like it, especially about the clock. So I just returned it to local walmart store.

For me... GREAT BUY

So far I have only had this XO Vision XOD1762NAV unit for a few days, but so far I am thoroughly impressed. I am not an "experienced installer", but I have experience installing many stereos in my own vehicles (and have worked on my own vehicles) over the years, whiched helped tremendusly. The installation guide is pretty vague, but I managed to get the whole installation done on my own. I have my XM going thru it, the DVD, SD card, USB, navigation and backup camera all work great, and I even installed the GPS antenna under the dash (but above the player). I have been especially impressed with all of the features throughout the navigation system. I'm still learning things I didn't see before as I go... many screens in the nav system. The operator's manual does the system ABSOLUTELY NO JUSTICE! Great picture from the DVD and the backup camera also.
I read a lot of bad reviews, but if the system holds up, this unit would be the best way to go in my opinion.

I previously forgot to mention that the bluetooth also works well. Once paired, you're good to go. I first posted about 6 weeks ago and have since made several trips across three states. Still impressed with everything, especially the nav system. The only issue I would have would be how/where to get updates for the nav system SD card. Otherwise, I have ZERO complaints. Unit has held up well so far. THOROUGHLY SATISFIED!!!

Not worth the money

Now I will admit you get what you paid for but the service you get behind the product is not worth this headache. With my unit, the motorized display stopped coming out, the front speaker outputs stopped functioning, the volume knob would not turn, and the Bluetooth stopped connecting. If you have a GM truck or SUV, this is not for you as the gearshift will always be in the way.
I did purchase the Wal-Mart warranty with this, but was told that it had to be returned to the manufacturer since it was still covered by the initial manufacturer warranty. I contacted XOVision and no one got back to me. Two weeks later I called again and was given the go ahead to mail it back to them to be fixed. I sent it with delivery confirmation receipt. Can you believe it was 2 weeks before they even checked in my unit and confirmed that they even had it. Was then told it was defective and another would be sent. That was another 2 weeks later. I was told it would be sent via Expedited shipping. Week later still no unit. Called again, it still wasn't shipped.
Summary -- 6 weeks later and no unit, It still hasn't been shipped. Understand there are 2 parts to purchasing a product. The first is getting a quality product that you paid for and the second is getting quality service behind behind the product.
STAY AWAY unless you can deal with the bad service from XOVision.

Upon installing this terrible unit, I noticed that the battery signal on the navigation stayed at 1 bar, not what was supposed to happen. I contacted XOVision, and they said to send a picture of it. I did that within 4 hours of the email, and that's the last I heard from them. I attempted to email them 3 more times, and never got a response. Its now been a month, and still havent heard from them. Within a week of owning this, the navigation also went out. It never came back!
Do not purchase this unit. It's not worth installing then having to uninstall a week later! Returning this unit today.
Hands down, the worst customer service I've ever experienced as a consumer.
You've been warned!

You know that old saying "if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it's a duck". Well this is a DUCK!!!! I just got this unit and installed it. The screen doesn't go all the way down or up after ejecting a cd. The DVD player only plays sound no picture even when the car isn't running. The screen for the gps is non-visible in the sun. I called XO Vision customer service and left 2 messages and wrote 2 emails and never got a reply. I am returning it first thing tomorrow morning. Walmart is the best as far as returning items so this has nothing to do with them. Please don't bother with this unit. Spend the extra $50-$100 and get a better unit..

Considerably cheaper than any other GPS/Radio touchcreen on the market. Easy to install. I was weary about purchasing something that was so much cheaper than the other options on the market, but this product did not let us down. Great buy, great value!

CD Player Doesnt Work

I just got this unit today and installed it in my wifes car. It worked great except for when i went to put in a cd it went halfway in and wouldnt take it, as if something was stuck in there. So I returned it today and reordered another one, in hopes that I just got a bad one and that they are not all like that.The screen was genric and plain in layout nothing fancy, soundstaging was elementary bass/treble/fade, navigation layout pretty impressive and has speed limit warnings,speed camera warnings,2d and 3d maps, can speak on the blue tooth because I didnt get a chance to try, all in all a working unit is an amazing deal and I will be posting on the next one I get so ppl know if it was just the bad one or not

It sounds like you defiantly forgot to take the two small screws out of the top of the unit before installation. Oops operator error. ;)

I bought this radio thinking it would be a good quality device....I was extremely wrong.....The touchscreen is loose when it is in the closed position, the touchscreen is not very good, ususally have to press hard to get a key to be accepted. The gps function is great, gps navigation and function is great. Oh and also the radio has 4 preset EQ settings. AND WORST OF ALL IT DOES NOT HAVE A CLOCK DISPLAY!!!!!!!!!!! This is the main reason I will be returning this.
