Defective after 2 1/2 hours of actual use!

I bought these 4-15-12 and this week it was warm enough for my daughter to finally wear them. Mon-Friday she wore them for roughly a half hour a day, long enough to wait for the afternoon school bus. Friday afternoon the buckle area on both shoes were seperated to the point where you could fit your index finger in between the material and velcro. I might have gotten a defective pair and do not know if they all will do that after 2 1/2 hours of actual use. They are very cute and my daughter loved them but I took them back as a defective pair. Quality and Expectations I gave it 3 stars. The quality was alright except for the strap seperations, and expectations I wish she was able to use them more than 2 1/2 hours total.
