i like it, it gets me everywhere and since my boyfriend is from DR hes fluent spanish and he says it works great. i love that it always uses shortcuts and im barely in traffic. love, lyns.

This GPS offers you a lot of bang for your buck! So far, this GPS has been great with accuracy. It easily pulls up city and street info which saves a great deal of time. I use to have a Garmin, but this one is even better! I love, love, love this GPS! Great deal and overall value! Buy and try it!

I am a first time GPS user, and I had no difficulty at all in setting up my unit.
Except for the required time to charge my GPS, I was able to connect to my new Magellan Account,
register my device, check for and install the available updates, snap it onto the windshield, enter a destination - and drive off in less than an hour. This GPS works perfectly. It exceeds my expectations. I am very pleased.

I always wanted a GPS,I get tired of asking for directions to unfamilar destinations...Before,this purchase I purchased a 3.5" very tiny..I wear glasses,so unfortunatley I had to return it.I am always on the search for a bargain,I saw this 4.7inch, and for the vaue.I purchased ASAP,after reading all the wonderful features,and a extra bonus ,Its a Magellan!

i was really upset when we were in the middle of a trip in our rv when my old magellin quite working. weeks away from soc. sec. check, low on cash when i saw this gps listed for 50.00, i cldnt believe such a cheap gps wld work well, just getting us home and then get another magellin were my plans. it was easy opening an account, great delivery service, and then it comes...it has proven with magellin you can trust their advertisements, it is just great, i do not need to buy a more expensive one, this does everything..and of course it gets us whereever we want to go. yeah for magellin

I needed a cheap GPS and this one was the best option I could find with some good reviews. I really like it. I have not used too much. I did not upgrade the map since it has the latest one. It tells you if address are on your right or left. It tells you to turn before the turn.

Purchased this as a replacement for my Magellan 1440 unit because it had exactly the same features but it has the new map upgrade. New 3120MU map doesn't have as many street addresses as the 1440 so I couldn't use it on my latest trip. Could not enter the Street name I needed to find. Had to use old 1440 so I guess I don't need this new unit. This thing is going back ASAP. VERY DISAPPOINTING UNIT in today's market! My daughter also bought a new 3120MU at the same time. She can't enter many Street names she needs in hers either so it's not just a problem with just my particular unit.

I bought this GPS for my husband when his more expensive and well-known model broke down. He is more than happy with it, says it has some features that are extremely useful, and he can't think of a single "con." A great value, highly recommended, especially for those who use these devices every day, all day.

The price was good but it failed in performance for me. The unit did not route the closest route under any of the options. I just tried the unit making a route from across town to my house. I returned the unit and I will try a different manufacturer.

I updated the software (not map) to the latest ver. (4.92) without a hitch. I think Magellan fixed the previous problems with the new content manager version. Anyway the device works great. The unit came with the latest map already loaded so i'm saving the free update for a future update. Bottom line......very pleased.

If you travel everyday on unfamiliar roads this is not the GPS for you. It gets me from one place to another but after alot of recalculating and u turns. I have owned a lot better ones than this. I thought maybe in just needed the free map update but it keeps saying it is up to date.

I have owned two Garmin units over the years, and I actually now prefer this Magellan unit. It is much easier to set up, and the volume control is on the front screen which is much more convenient.

I have tried Tom Tom, Garmin and Magellan GPS systems. I returned all but the Magellan for the simplicity. Occasionally a GPS will fail you - but more times than not, my Magellans have provided me with the security & convenience that one expects from a GPS unit.
I have spent more of other Magellan systems and must say that this unit is serving just me as well.

The first one I got and after two days put under the seat and forgot about it. When I moved the seat I broke the glass. This happened after only 2 days of use. I immeadiately went back on line and bought my second one. I have had over a month and love it. Just plug and use. My six year old grandson uses it every time he is in the car. Tells elevation, speed, miles left and even estimated time of arrival. When I go a backroad it recalculates the route for me. What more could you ask for only $60. Screen is 4.7" and is a good size with nice colors also.
