Very much surprised at the excellent sound that burst out of this little turntable the minute I put the needle down. Even with records that have been passed down to me from a relative that are a bit warped (after having them over time) they play just fine. I also have newly picked up vinyls that have come out recently. Thought I would have to add Optional Speakers, they really are not needed! Also thought this would be a "starter" player and would purchase a nicer, more expensive one later after I decided how much I was going to use/need something for my vinyls. This one is great! Did not expect such a wonderful product for the low price....it's really a bonus, I feel!

Great little turntable for the price. It comes with two little speakers built in but has speaker terminals on back if you want to add better ones, I run my turntable through my surround sound via the external volume port or headphone jack.

Outstanding product for people who want portability in a turntable and AM/FM stereo radio. Although the self contained speakers are OK, you can also hook up other speakers for a more dynamic sound. Very lightweight and has good looks.

I was very satisfied with the product which performs even better with exterior speakers. My only criticism is that it would be even better with tone controls e.g., a way to effect base and treble values.

received shipped item last month.has excellant sound,considering that the internal speakers are small.had a bit of a problem connecting stylus assembly to the tone arm.needed help.o9therwise it is useable right out of box.other systems costed much more and had the same features.

unexpected clicking sound

Picked up unit at store and tested at home. It is exactly what I am looking for. I am hoping this unit is an isolated case with a defect. I will return it and order another. This unit makes a clicking sound (like a ratchet wrench) when the turn table in turning. I hope the replacement unit will not have this defect because otherwise I like the product.

search for a turntable with internal speakers is not too easy, we need something that did not plug into a IPod, cellphone, PC, etc. All turntables come with speaker hook ups, this one does too. We can add speaker if we want but right now the radio and phonograph work just fine with the internal speakers. For the price you can't bet the deal.

Great turntable to use because I still have 45s and 33s. Finally, I was so happy to listen to them. Also, I will recommend this to a friend or family. I will be getting another one but this time with a cd recorder I just found out is available. Thank you very much.

I was surprised at how small this turntable is. It's a good size for apartments, dorms, or anyplace where space is at a minimum. The sound is good, but not great. It is not as rich as a larger machine. The "regular sized" records are a tight fit, but the cover is still able to close. That said, the record will 'spill over' the sides, so you will have to be careful, particularly if you tend to dance along with your tunes. In the end, this is a fine machine for the price.
