The 18" foam mattress we bought elsewhere fits perfectly and this is SO much better than a plain black metal base. It looks nice in our second bedroom, doesn't make any sound if you roll over and was pretty easy to assemble.
It's heavy [91#]; have someone help you get it in off the porch if need be.

Beautiful product! So simple to assemble, and it is rock solid. The bed is so much firmer without a boxspring. Other reviews complained about squeaks but as long as you know how to tighten a screw properly its a non-issue. Storage space is amazing, really doubles the underbed storage as compared to that four or five inches you get with a traditional frame and boxspring set up. I can store suitcases under it, thats how much space there is. I wish it had a generic fixture to attached a headboard already installed instead of having to buy it separately, though.

worked better than expected, my memory foam mattress used to lye on my old box spring (seemed to soft) now with this frame its firm and better supported the frame is well made looks great

I am very pleased with this bed and they way it looks in my bedroom. it was very easy to assemble. I put it together by myself in about 1 1/2 hour. Seems to be a very sturdy bed also. I think I will be very happy with this bed for the long term.

My teen daughter chose this bed while remodeling her room. it was very easy to put together, and very sturdy. We love the contemporary design and style of the bed. Considering getting myself a queen size of the same! We may put a layer of that under rug grip material under her mattress to prevent it from sliding as it is not right up against the wall.

We were using bed risers & it's wonderful not to hit our feet, toes on those or the bed frame, anymore. Plus, it's very sturdy, our King mattress fits perfectly on top of this frame. We donated our 2 box springs, as well as the metal bed frame-cheesy 1- we were using. We like the sleekness, style of this frame.

I bought this for my son and his fiancee and they say they really like it.
It looks good, is functional, holds a lot of weight, doesn't move or make noise, and should last a long time.
The price wasn't bad either for a new, good looking, and strong bed frame that also takes the place of a box spring.
