Great TV for price and was all I would want. Picture quality is sweet, sound lacks a lil bit but I have it hooked uup to surround sound so that fixed that. No complaints and Im happy with total purchase. Great job as always RCA!!

The picture is great looking straight on, but from an angle it's not very crisp.
Sound is good from the TV speakers. Would have been great if the TV had a digital optical out port for use with a home theater system.
Overall I think I got what I paid for ... which wasn't much ;)

We love our 55 inch RCA HDTV. The picture is excellent and the sound is great. We had to adjust the contrast when we first started using it since we have a well lit family room. However, we added dark out curtains over the light filter shade of a major window and now we have a perfect movie quality experience from tv sitcoms to action packed movies. Great value and great product. RCA rocks! :)

A a single mother with children we are not looking for all the bells and whistles. We just wanted a TV we could plug in and watch when home and this was perfect. With the help of the 14 year old to set it up and the 9 year old to program the channels we were up and running within 30 minutes and have loved everything about it!

I have two other Sony Bavia HD tvs, the new RCA has a better picture than both of them. The sound from the RCA is also better than either Sony. It did take a while to be delivered, but this was a great purchase and well worth the price and the wait.

did site to store, got this TV for 750.00 which was a great deal. Agree with the others about the small screws used to hold the base; I lost one of them - use a magnetic screwdriver. I have it hooked up to Brighthouse and the channels are so crisp!! Will buy an inexpensive sound bar as we have to have it up to 40 to get good volume on it though. Now we just have to figure out how to get our PS3 hooked up to it!! Would definitely recommend!

We purchased this after gettin rid of our floor model 50" (ancient). Everyone that enters our home is like OMG what a huge difference, the pic quality is great w/Fios. Also we had an extra Vizio hdmi cord. It's a great investment on a budget otherwise its worth the buy.

I bought this television after lots of camparison shopping. The tv has surpassed my expectations. This is my second RCA LCD HDTV and I don't have a complaint with the company yet. The only downside to my tv purchase was I was able to clearly see the imperfections of non-HDTV channels, so I had to get a newer cable box. My husbad also loves the tv for gaming, movies and general tv. Great picture, sound and quality!

This was my first LCD TV and the picture is great. Not as good as some of the more expensive models but still considerably better than my old 35" tube TV. I would reccomend this to just about anyone (unless you are already familiar with the quality from a much more expensive model). For the price, this TV offers alot of function at a low cost. No added thrills like web access but I am not interested in that anyway as I can stream from my network storage more easily. Super starter model. Sound is just okay as it can be rather quiet at has distortions at higher volumes.
