Brother Serger Lay-in Thread Machine

I just bought this sergers after Christmas and I cannot begin to tell how wonderful it is. I have found that it is super easy to thread and the disks will tell anything you need to know.While I am not a professional, I have sewn many a garments including a wedding gown and such, and know I would have loved to have this machine then. But I have it now and am looking forward to many new things to sew.

I have worked in the garment industry with sergers before and most of them are hard to thread. This one was a dream. It took a few minutes reading the directions but it was no problem. The machine comes threaded with 4 different color spools of thread so that is easy to follow. It is also light weight so I was easily able to put it on a shelf when not in use. It has suction cups on the bottom to hold it in place as you sew. Any sewer should be able to use and enjoy this machine.

Love it , Love it. This is my first serger. And a Brother Serger is terrific. I have wanted one for years. I investigated them for quite some time and this is the best. The very best price also. I paid $199.99 and had it delivered to the store no shipping cost. I looked many places and saw prices from $249.99 to $399.99. This was for the same product. I am still learning this machine but the book and the DVD's are so helpful. If you are looking for a machine like this I would highly recommend this one. A1 without a pause. The Brother name is something to be said for also. You receive the phone #'s for any problems. Thank You Walmart for stocking this product either in the store on on your site. This machine also uses universal needles. nothing special to have to look for or buy.

Haven't had a lot of time to use my new Brother Machine yet. But it seems to have all the features of the machinies that cost much more.
I am looking forward to really putting it to the test.

Very easy to use and thread, I have been sewing not quite a year and never used a serger, I bough this and made placemats, Totes, eye glass cases, and more for christmas gifts. This is just great and simple to use. I Highly recommend this product you will love it.

While I have only had this serger about two weeks, I have used it every few days. It does quite well. The best thing is that it is much easier to thread than my other serger, a Singer about twenty years old. I appreciate the dvd that gives added information and sewing projects.

Okay so Walmart is asking for a review of my new serger so here it is. I read reviews on this machine over and over so purchased it for the 219.99 with the free shipping to the store and waited my 1 1/2 and went and got it. I've had it for about 2 wks now and love the features. Honestly I've only done the 4 stitch but I don't see as how the other features would be a problem to do, I just haven't needed them yet. I love how this little baby makes all my sewing projects take like 2 minutes to make a pair of pants and just cuts through anything. I never want to go back to being with out one again. This was my first serger so I have nothing to base it off of but it definately wasn't hard to thread like most people scared me to death of. The first time of the book and pictures shown on the machine and I did it like a breeze and was very proud of myself. It's been fun :) The video was so small on my computer though that mostly I think I'll rely on the books and internet for learning the techniques. That was the only complaint I could give but I don't count that against it since it really doesn't go against the product satisfaction of how it works. I look forward to using this machine every time I pull it out and JoAnn's thread is half off today which makes stocking up for 1.00 a serger cone a great deal, good luck everyone

The serger came in one day! Yup, just one day! Awesome, does the job, and way cheaper than other models I've researched. The positive reviews were right on. If you can read, then you can thread a serger! This is my first serger purchase, no more borrowing from mom. Love it.......and it came in ONE day!
