I am not impressed. The pump is extremely loud, louder than the water falling. The spinning ball is really loud too, so I took some tape and fixed it so that the ball wouldn't spin anymore. That stopped the noice from it, but kind of defeated the aesthetic purpose of the ball.
On the ball, it looks rock-ish, but it is made out of plastic, so it is pretty light. That's why it makes so much noise when it spins.
The water doesn't come out of the top consistently either. Sometimes it will come out of all three holes, sometimes just two; sometimes it runs down the face, but most of the time at least one of the holes is shooting water off in a strange direction.
Don't buy this fountain.

The summary says it all. We purchased this product for at the walmart in valparaiso IN four weeks ago. We have not been able to enjoy this product at all. I just returned home this evening after exchanging for a fountain that works. It doesn't work. This fountain is absolutely useless. I read the prior comments and wish ours would have thrown water all over the place. Four fountains later and none of them have even turned on. The pump has broken loose form the base of the fountain and doesn't pump water through the fountain. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Definately would not recommend this product. I decided to purchase it thinking I was getting a good deal. It looks nice and seems like it should perform well. When first turning it on I noticed it was a bit too loud for my liking. After 30 seconds one of the three spouts starting spraying water straight out onto my desk. Good thing I didn't leave it and go somewhere. If you like to have your stuff ruined by water spraying out of the device, then buy this. Took it back and got the HoMedics EnviraScape Silver Springs Relaxation Fountain, haven't look back. Don't buy this $10 excuse for a fountain.
