This makes the dreaded floor mopping the easiest thing in the world. It does a really good job cleaning, the floors look great, and are almost instantly dry. With a big dog and 2 cats it's important to me to have sanitized floors without using harsh chemicals. This is my first steam mop and I doubt I will ever be without one again. I couldn't review the durability because I just got it but I hope it lasts a good long time.

After two years debating whether to buy a steamer mop and researching different brands, I decided on this one. Unless you do not want any chemicals on your floors or have some physical limitations using a regular mop, I would not recommend. This unit just moves the dirt around, triples the amount of time to clean floors because you have to move it so slowly across the floor and even after I move it across tile, the tile is still cool. There is NO WAY this sanitizes if the floor is barely warm. I called customer service asking if the water reaches 212 degrees, why are my floors still cool? She said the machine heats up the water inside to 212 degrees. My thought, by the time the water goes through the machine, through the pad and on the floor is it really sanitizing when it makes contact with the floor?
Also, unit constantly made the annoying noise that's suppose to stop once it heats up.
I don't understand all the rave reviews. My mop works much better than this thing and it can be submerged in water to rinse the dirt once in a while. Sorry Haan, had to return the unit and please train your customer service lady to actually talk to people instead of reading off the policy written responses in front of her.

Walmart shipped this product very quickly.I use it to keep our large dogs area clean,they can bring in dust and mud,plus they're shedding the winter coat.

I have the original Haan and I'm very happy with it. Was hoping that different settings would be helpful. The light setting for wood and vinyl barely wets the mop. Have to use the strong setting at all times. This defeats the whole purpose of the machine. The water container is small only half as big as the original mop. Have to fill it twice as often. Lastly the water container is very difficuly to remove unlike the original that simply slips off. Would not recomment this mop but the original Haan is great.

Love, love, love the HAAN SI-60 steam mop, I had a smaller one that would always run out of water and the head was higher so could not get under the cabinets. I am able to do my entire home with one reservoir of water, steam is ready in approximately 20 seconds, steam on floor dries really quickly within minutes. This machine is so easy to use I am steam mopping at least twice a week. After receiving my within just a couple of days, it was shipped FedEx, I ordered one for my niece, she also loves it, she had had another brand before and agrees this is the best. The price was fantastic.

I have owned a Shark (first generation) and a Eureka (which lasted only 7 months), and this one is the best thus far! Super long cord, lightweight. Doesn't put off a lot of steam but enough to do the job, and you don't have to fill up the tank as often! So happy with my purchase!

Floor Cleaning Experiment!

I've only tried my new Haan floor steam mop once since purchasing it. At first I wasn't sure it was doing anything as I pushed it around. It was definitely producing some very hot steam which dampened the thick pad that came with the unit. The floor doesn't look as wet as it would when I used a swiffer wet or scrubbed it by hand, so I doubted it was doing much. However, after completely pushing it over the whole floor at a modest pace, the floor appeared clean. Upon removing the pad to inspect it, the pad had absorbed a lot of dirt and grime. The swivel head on this is a must-have!
I hand washed my pad, but may try the washing machine next time. I know the pad may not last as long, but I think it will be cleaner this way.
I don't know if this product does much real sanitizing without chemicals, but it does seem to do a fair job cleaning my vinyl kitchen floor. I have yet to try it on my bathroom tile. Next time, I may apply some floor cleaning chem's just to see if they work well together.
Overall, I think it worked well for under a $100 bucks. Now lets see how long it holds up for. Give it a try, much better than a swiffer wet, which it replaced!

I bought this steam mop to replace my Bissell steam mop that broke. I was very impressed with this steam mop and its functionality. Love everything about it! I was so amazed at how clean my hardwood floors really got. I was also happy to to see that I could use this mop on my unsealed laminate floor. Works great!

I purchased the Hann steam mop SI-60......after reading reviews. I am totally sold on this. I ordered it on Wednesday and recieved it Thursday evening. Snapped on the handle and used it. I love this and would purchase it again. My ceramic floors look beautiful and the grout looks so much better.

I just used this steam mop for the first time and it performed extremely well. I've never used a steam mop before, so I can't compare this with others, but it does exactly what it claims. I cleaned my kitchen floor in half the time it used to take and as soon as I was done, it was dry.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She cleaned my laminate floors right a way. She did a quick try out clean so she wasn't thorough. You could definitely see where she didn't clean. The floor was very clean and shiny where she had cleaned. I use mop and glow on my floors so they always have a nice shine but the heat/steam seemed to really bring out the luster of the floor.

For years I've been cleaning my hardwood floors with everything from a mop and bucket to Swiffer products. The cost of the cleaning products and pads not only added up but I never felt like my floors were super clean, especially given you can't use a lot of harsh cleaners on hardwood. This is why I started looking into a steam mop.
What I like about this particular mop is that it's quick and easy to use. Fill the tank with water, wait for it to heat up and you're ready to go. Very simple. During my first use, I put it to the test on a sticker that's been stuck to my kitchen floor for 5 years. I've tried everything to get it off and nothing has worked. I put the steam mop over it and let it sit for a few minutes and after working on it for about two minutes the sticker was removed!
After cleaning my hardwood floors they felt cleaner and I did not see any residue or haze after, a common complaint of other mops.
I also have pets so I like that I can clean close to their food bowls and not worry about chemicals getting into their food or getting on their feet.
I didn't comment on the durability because I have only owned this for two weeks. I do think the unit feels kind of cheap, with cheap plastic parts, but for the overall price I paid in comparison to other mops and the fact it cleans well for me, it was worth purchasing.

I love my new haan steam mop, it is everything I hoped for, I have hardwood floors, and I had another steam mop from a few years ago, and it left the floors so wet, I would have to get a towel to dry the floors. The reviews I read before I purchased the Haan convinced me to try it, and I have to say it is great, love the two options of steam, and the floors dry quick, and look great... and also works great on my Kitchen floor.
