Slime Tire Sealant Slime Tire Sealant Slime Super Thick Self-Sealing Smart Bike Tube

Upgrade from an inner tube to a Smart Tube and enjoy two years of flat free riding. The heavy-duty thorn resistant tube is factory filled with non-toxic, non-corrosive Slime Tube Sealant. Smart Tubes instantly seek out and seal punctures before they cause a flat.

I bought a pair of these for my mountain bike for some street and occasional offloading. They only lasted a season. They had the same issue other reviewers encountered on the other slime tubes. The stem rotted off and the tire ran flat. I made it about 2 miles from home with my son in the trailer. My cell phone saved the day and not the slime. Luckily there was a park nearby so we enjoyed the time till we could be picked up.

I have close to 10,000 miles on my Schwinn, and one of these tubes and a Serfas Drifter tire on the front. Hundreds of goat head punctures, and the tube still seals! The rear tube had the dreaded stem failure at about 3000 miles, but the replacement is still going strong with a new rear tire replaced at 8000 miles. I use the bike as a 10 mile round trip work commuter, and a 30 mile Sat-Sun ride each day. All miles on paved surfaces.
