My husband started with the plastic snake tool per the instructions. After pulling out an orange-sized wad of my hair out of the tub drain, he found the water flow was perfect and didn't even need to use the gel. He did the same thing with my sink (Yes, he pulled out more of my hair; I must be thinning.) and my son's sink. Again, he found that he didn't need to use the gel. Maybe Drano should consider marketing just the snake tool.

i love this kit the snake works wonders and i dont even have to use the gel they really should just sell the snakes. The only bad thing is walmart is ALWAYS out of stock online and in store , but that just goes to show you how good it is.
