Great 'Avengers' Character "Prequel"!

'Cap' (As his loyal fans call him) is back! This film, along with the other 'Avenger' character solo films ('Iron Man', 'Iron Man 2', 'The Incredible Hulk' and 'Thor') shows the back story of the character and does it in a great way! The characters are like able, the plot is easy to comprehend, yet it is still mature enough that people of all ages can enjoy it! It is nesecssary for the film collection of any 'Avengers' or Marvel fan!

I liked the movie for the most part but it is very slow moving at the start well through the first half really. The storyline was kind of weak, I was kind of bored and I was disappointed with the overall story. The actors were great considering what they had to work with.

Great action film. Good special effects. Plot is so-so. Some parts were not realistic for the World War II setting. For example, women were not in positions of direct authority over men. And African Americans, Whites and Japanese definitely were not be part a military unit. Segregation was alive and well.
