had bike for a few months to long to take back to walmart but still within warranty period and manfacture was not responsive to say the least, wanted to charge to replace bad rims probably better off spending a few more dollars and getting a bteer product.

Bike came with out seat clamp, minor inconvenience. Manufacture sent me a new one upon request. Have had major problem with rear rim. Kept blowing tires. Checked rim found nothing. Took to a professional bike shop they checked rim and replaced tire. New tire blew within 100 yards. went back to bike shop said rim is bad, although they could not pinpoint problem. Plan on contacting manufacture for replacement. Brakes ahve cheap plastic grommets. Bike shop said I should replace soon. Bike may be reasonably priced but I would spend a little more for a higher quality product.

I bought this bike based on appearance, reviews and cost. With that said it was really hard spotting one even online. I found one at a local Walmart but it was returned and not sure why. It bothers me a bit when I was paying w/c is 10% less but only thing I see are dirt on the tires and few scratches. I will update if I see any in a few weeks.
Took the bike home attached the chains and off I go. On the reviews here that the brakes squeaks- correct esp on the front. The seats are not comfortable but looks sporty.
Shifters works it is just making a slight noise when on gear 3, no biggie I can probably adjust it. I am 5"7 and I really like the size of this bike- 29er!
This bike is awesome. I can't wait to take it for a longer ride.

Well took it out on the maiden voyage this morning and she never missed a lick. Had to do all the handle bar, brake and shifting adjustments myself though. The wheels are straight and true. The bike rides out nice and is comfortable for me. At 6'2" 255 lbs. that's not bad. The hand grips are a little hard and riding gloves would help. This bike is a bargain for what it is!

Are front brakes really that necessary?

Having put together several bikes before with minimal problems, this bike was slightly different. The front brakes would not disengage on one side despite a couple hours of tinkering. After getting a friend from Schellers to look at the bike for me, we were unable to fix the problem without removing the brake pads completely. The only other issue I found was that the back tire would not hold air, which I still haven't had time to fix. Thanks, Walmart.

I wanted a hybrid but didn't want to break the bank. It's stylish and rides smooth. I bought a gel pad for the seat but that was the least of my worries. I would recommend purchasing it from the store as they assemble it free of charge. The assembly tech even adjusted the handle bars and inflated the tires for me. I just wanted a bike to ride alongside my daughter for short rides. Now after purchasing this bike I'll be tackling the Kal-Haven trail and other longer bike routes. For those of us who can't afford a pricey hybrid it fits the bill perfectly. Sleek, black, stylish, rides great, and isn't hard on the pocket book! Great buy!

This is a well put together mens hybrid. It is relatively lightweight @ 33-34 lbs and includes modern looking racing style rims. Putting the bike together was simple (ordered through walmart.com) and only required a metric allen wrench in two sizes. The manual says it ships with a wrench however I did not find one in the packaging. I was happy with the semi-smooth treaded tires. The linear brakes gave me some trouble though and I could never quite adjust them to work the way I thought they should. Also I did not see the point of the extra gear shift indicator attached to the handlebars. The gripshifts work just fine to tell me what gear it's in. The seat is a racing style so it is hard and narrow with the indentation down the middle for males. I prefer more wider more comfortable seat possibly with suspension.

I received the product quickly and by the date provided in my order summary. Unfortunately, when it arrived, I opened the box and the bike was in pretty bad shape. The front tire was blown, the brake cables were kinked and the outer cable housing stripped and damaged, and various parts (bolts, set screws, washers and nuts) that should have still been installed on the bike were scattered on the bottom of the box. It took a couple of hours and a trip to the local bike shop to repair it to working order. I did contact Wal-mart.com and they creditied quite a bit of the purchase price back to my card. Once fully repaired, the bike has been good to ride. Overall, a pretty good price for a hybrid bike, just be prepared to spend some time fixing the problems and a trip or two to your local bike shop to get it working properly.

Bike was fairly simple to put together, though the instructions were not very helpful (too many different bikes documented in them).
I spent $60 at a local bike shop to have everything tuned. I recommend that if you are like my and are not a bike mechanic. Make sure to factor that into your cost decision.
A few short rides and my only complaint is that the back brakes squeak badly, though I am hoping that will go away with wear. The seat is reasonably comfortable and I have had no problems with the tires.
I am 5'8" and I just barely fit on it. If I was 5'7" I would not be able to clear the center bar straddling the bike.
