I haven't had to use lanolin much but this is the best one I've found. It's thicker than Medela's which was too messy and runny in my opinion. This wiped off well and my daughter never had any adversions to nursing while I was using it.

This is one thing I recommend to anyone planning on breastfeeding. I have nursed 4 children and have had it for each of them. (just bought another for our new little one) A little goes a long way. I use it for the first couple months and then I don't need it anymore. I always have half of the tube left.

This product really works, but it is so thick! I did follow the direction and rub it between my fingers, but I do not see a huge difference. I would like to find the same ingredients in a thinner product, if it exists?

My wife got this stuff when she was sent home from the hospital
with our baby girl..(she's 16 now) Our family has been using this
exclusively for very chapped lips..best overnight healing cream
ever..even the worst chapped lips will be looking good fast, and
it is so helpful for being in dry rooms like the hospital. You give

Every breastfeeding mother needs to have a nipple cream to help her through the tough time in the beginning. This cream was indispensable to me for the first few weeks, and if I hadn't had it, I may have given up on breastfeeding. I love that you don't have to wash it off before you feed. However, it was the only cream I tried, and it was quite goopy and hard to manage at times. If you can find a different cream, it might be worth it to try that one too, to see what works for you.

This is the ONLY thing a breast feeding mother NEEDS! If you pump or not, this helps so much! It is safe for baby and you and makes pumping, nursing and expressing so much easier on mom. I would say there is something about lanolin that relaxes and promotes milk flow, so this is a great investment. I got samples in the hospital and fell in love!

This works just as it says it will. I like that it's not a huge tube as it fits well in the diaper bag. You have enough stuff to carry besides putting a huge tube of cream to take up more room. plus you only use a small amount each time to apply it.

This stuff really works. While it doesn't so much help with sore nipples, it keeps them from getting cracked, peeling, and/or bleeding. I imagine it'll last a while because I don't have to reapply every time baby feeds.

Its actually more like vaselin, but I love it! I use it after every breastfeeding, and it really helps. Being a first time mom, I'm not used to the cracking, bleeding, sore nipples (which I got right away at the hospital). But I had this with me and I kept using it and now its really easy. Definitely buying more.

I ended up pretty wounded after the first few days of my son's life while he learned to latch on properly. Hurtin', I went out and bought this for some relief. After just the first day of using this I felt better, and I healed up very quickly. The consistency is like petroleum jelly and doesn't bother me at all. Especially cause I have breast pads, so it's not getting on any of my clothing anyway. Really wish I had this product from the get-go...could have saved me some pain!
