the instruction manual that came with this watch does not allow me to set the watch features so i have been "experimenting" with various sequence of set, mode, start, blah blah blah and still cannot get the day of the week set..or time 2, or count down feature. It would seem obvious that i should go to timex.com and get the manual....wrong!! There are several versions of the 1440 and trying to tie down the exact one will drive you to drink..It is a lot of watch for the money and I expect it will "take a licken and keep on ticken"...but if you want to keep your sanity then try a different model with an accurate instruction manual enclosed in the shipping package.

For the money it can't be beaten. Simple to use and it is nice to have an easy to set timer and alarm. It also has a simple to use stop watch and can have two time zones set.

I bought this watch for my Husband for Christmas and he loves it because it doesn't have sharp pr hard ridges like some other watches have.
It's very comfortable and he doesn't have to worry about it getting wet when he showers.

Was delighted to see how large the digits were. I can read it without my reading glasses which is novel and ideal. Great price and I have decided after many problems and failures with getting new batteries for previous watches (many quite $$$) that I will buy cheap watches and just toss them and buy new ones from now on. Very pleased with this.
