I purchased this doll for my 6 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She loves it and keeps it with her whereever she goes. She said it is the best gift she ever got. The doll is the perfect size for her and the quality is very good.

This line of dolls is perfect for little girls. Just the right size for hugging. Colorful dress, silken hair, and beautiful ethnic features really set this doll apart. Niece actually prefers them to the American Girl line. She enjoyed wearing the bracelet that came with the doll, and also reading the story of the girl's origins on the box. Moderately priced, this doll is a good buy. The little girl in your life will certainly love her.

I purchased this for my 5 year old daughter because the doll looked so adorable on the shelf and I loved the idea behind these dolls. Everything about this doll is amazing from her eyes, great silky hair, the body, and overall size is perfect for any child....her beauty is beyond compare. My daughter asked for an American Girl doll this year but for the price of that doll I can get her every other one of these. I plan on purchasing at Ethiopia, US, Russia, and India for Christmas. I wish I could have this doll for myself and keep her by my bedside.

Right from her class teacher to friends to grandparents back in India everyone who knows my 7 yr old knows her doll from Mexico and her family history. I can safely say that she is totally in love with Consuelo. Beautiful doll with an inspiring story to tell. Now I have ordered Tipi for her and she tries to make her story too. Guess I will have to buy all the HFH dolls for her one by one. Overall very very happy with the purchase.

My daughter (age 7) absolutely loves these dolls! She has 2 and is getting 2 more. Very pretty, good size, and the hair is smooth and silky. I wish there were more clothes to fit these dolls, though.

This line of dolls is absolutely stunningly beautiful, stylish, and just all around great! Their inset (not painted on) eyes are extremely realistic and crystal clear, and their little faces are so beautifully detailed. Their painted on make up is done naturally and enhances their features. The body is strung with strong and thick elastic bands and this offers the dolls the ability to stand on their own and be posed in many cute positions. My favorite aspect is that their little heads can be tilted to look up- they are so cute!
A family member of mine is set to receive two of these and I had to go out and buy one for myself! They are so much fun to make clothes for too- any girl that's getting into the sewing/fashion mode will have a blast creating clothes for them!
I can't wait for this line of dolls to develop further with more dolls, clothes, and accessories becoming available as they gain in popularity.
To top it all off- purchasing from the Hearts for Hearts line of dolls gives back to children in need- you can't go wrong in choosing a better gift for that special girl! The hardest part will be deciding which doll to get first! Consuelo will simply steal your heart!
