My granddaughter wanted a little girl doll rather than a baby doll for her birthday. This one was so much better than the American Girl Dolls that I looked at. It has a storybook about the doll, info on her part of the world, a friendship bracelet for my granddaughter to wear, and a portion of the price goes to charity - all important to me. But what was important to Aubrey was Lilian's beauty - especially her long blond hair. She loved combing it with the comb that was included. I'm so glad I found this gorgeous little doll for her!

After seeing the American Girl doll for big $, I happened to scroll Walmart's website and came across this beauty. The detail was excellent, even to the earrings, and the embroidery on her outfit. This is a perfect doll for any little girl.

This doll is absolutely beautiful, has adorable features. I think much cuter than the overly priced American Girl doll. It also supports a great cause! There are several dolls from different countries with authentic dresses and a book that tells you what it is like to be a girl in that country. With every purchase you help girls from the country the doll is from. Great way to teach your daughter about other cultures and show support for girls every where!

We love this doll. Way better than AG dolls. The proportions to real girls are better. They are truly well made and worth every penny. We plan on collecting more of them.

This was a beautiful doll and love the fact that by purchasing this I am helping children in need. My grand daughter is 5 and wanted an american doll and I purchased this doll instead for nearly a quarter of the price and she loves it!

Good alternative to higher priced dolls

Bought this for my four year old daughter for Christmas. She loves it. It was the toy that she carried around with her for the rest of the day. The dolls are based on true stories of real girls from around the world. My daughter was interested in the story of Lillian and learning about where she was from. This is an economical alternative to dolls that cost much more. So far, we are happy with this toy.
