This item is exactly what I wanted and does everything that I need. The extender is a wonderful value because it works great. I choose this item as opposed to a simple 6 ft headphone extension. This item was only $2 more than a 6 ft extension, and it is SO worth the money. I now have an extra 14 ft (easy) on my headphones (to stretch to the full 18, it seems a little too tight). Plus the splitter and other adapters make this a great buy for anyone with any other sound equipment. You can use it with many other items like surround sound, your additional sound card on your PC, or a keyboard. I have had NO sound quality issues with either my standard cheap headphones, or with my bose headphones. Overall, this does exactly what it says and was a great price.
