Perfect cross trainer for distance runner

I have used an upright bike before for my cross training which was the low-end Weslo model; however, it outlived its usefulness. It was a great upright bike, and I needed to replace it, so, I chose the Schwinn 150, which met all my requirements, i.e. remote heart rate tracking, distance monitor, calories burned, and especially the quietness. I would recommend this model to any serious athlete for cross training.

I've had my Schwinn 150 Upright Exercise Bike for a couple weeks now and absolutely LOVE it!! I researched many upright bikes and this bike had the best reviews by far, so I decided to give it a chance and I'm so very glad that I did!!
I am 6'1, very lanky, and wasn't sure if I'd "fit" well (many bikes aren't designed to accomidate my very long legs... I have a 39 in inseam.) I was pleasntly surprised that with the handle bars in the most forward postition and the seat in the furthest back postion, I fit just fine! YAY!! My husband, who is 6'3, but is more evenly proportioned, also fit just fine.
As other's have stated, it's super quiet. The display is awesome! The resistance levels are superb! The only negative is that the fan is pathetic. But, the fan was like an extra bonus feature, so it doesn't change my overall opinion that this bike is PERFECT!! Definitely worth the money spent.

The quality is up to my expectations. It is smooth and amazingly quiet. I think the electronics are a little old school and simple, but they work perfectly so that’s more than you can say for most. It comes in about 11 different pieces but goes together very easily. All tools are provided and instructions are easy to understand. I do recommend this bike. Awesome quality at an awesome value.

It is working as advertised, the 1 I got from you guys last fall , I returned it , "transmission" locked right out of the box. . Box looked like had fallen on 1 corner when I picked it up.

The Schwinn 150 is extremely quiet. Had to download the operating manual from the web. Would have been nice if it had been included in the box the bike came in. A little difficult figuring the assembly from the pictures. Verbal instructions explaining what the arrows are trying to point out would have been nice too. All-in-all, I am very pleased with the bike.

It's an exercise bike. No spinning flywheels or chains. I like the idea that this product seems to have been designed from the ground up as an exercise bike, not as a bicycle, modified to be an exercise bike. It's sturdy, and works well, but what impressed me the most was how quiet it is. Absolutely silent while in use, no matter the difficulty level.

We truly enjoy our Schwinn 150. We have it in our living room because it doesn't take up too much space and it is exceptionally quiet. The console can be seen very well. An excellent buy!

took about 2 hrs to assemble good sturdy product i am 260lbs. very quiet and smooth.

The Schwinn 150 upright is a great bike for the price! To say it's "whisper quiet" is an understatement. It's unbelievably quiet so you can listen to music or watch TV and not have the volume cranked up, and it has lots of options for programs. The fan isn't worth much, but the mp3/ipod speaker works well. My husband and I put on different pedals as we bike with biking shoes and clips. The pedals are farther apart than a traditional road bike, but nothing too uncomfortable. I don't mind the large seat; my husband doesn't like it, although it can be switched out, too. Overall, for the price of less than $400, it's a darn good purchase and we're happy we bought it!

This the excellent bike too have it is really quite so if like to watch tv it is perfect and if you have kids like i do you and dont get time to workout in tell they go to bed it is good for that too other plus is this bike is recommend on the bigest loser web site and i looked in to all there ones that they had on there site and they where like 1,200 or more

This exercise bike is awesome. It is extremely quiet, has several programs, and tracks your achievements. I put it together in about 2 hours while multitasking (watching TV, checking email, etc).
The thing that surprised me the most was how quiet the bike could be. I can easily watch TV without having to turn up the sound.
I'm definitely glad I bought this model.
