The Weslo Pursuit G 3.1 Exercise Bike is ideal equipment for losing weight right from the comfort of your home. It comes with a comfortable flexible seating that provides good support to your back while you work out. Burn the extra calories with this Weslo pursuit recumbent bike. The exercise bike also comes with a silent magnetic resistance system that offers various difficulty levels. The cycle also has a easy to reach water bottle holder to keep your body hydrated throughout. The Weslo pursuit 3.1 exercise bikes provide some other features like the step thru design, transport wheels and LCD window to monitor distance covered and calories burnt. The new recumbent design removes the normal conventional bike base and gives it a newer look.
I just started using this exercise bike a few weeks ago, but I've found it to be very sturdy and my starting weight is 250 which is supposed to be the top weight. My wife and I both use it. At first it felt like the length setting was too short, but we got used to it being set where it was when we put it together. There are three notches left to extend it for longer legs. The seat and back support are very comfortable. We have found a significant difference in the resistance settings, but we are in our upper 50s/lower 60s in age. I'm sure those younger and fitter might find the resistance to be less strenuous. I put it together in about a hour and 45 minutes with minimal help from my wife. The price was what we wanted to pay and the store pickup was pretty easy. As you can see from the picture, it doesn't take up much space.

Product is well designed and constructed. Suggested assembly takes 2 people and I found this was wise. One to help hold things in position and assists the other. I have COPD and with proper breathing and exercise techniques daily, my condition doesn't progress downward. This product assist me to progress upward and/or maintain my condition at it's best. I especially like the scan readout so I can tell time, distance, calories and speed while exercising. I do highly recommend this product to anyone.

Exactly what I needed ! Having MS it's difficult lifting my feet. It's short enough to lift my feet over to sit down, and reaching the pedals. Putting it together wasen't hard. Nice and comfortable and sturdy. Very Satisfied.

AWFUL. The resistance broke after 3 days so I returned it. I've learned my lesson and went to Academy to get better quality equipment.
Not to mention my box didn't come with instructions so I had to jump through hoops to find the manual online.

FOOL ME ONCE....

We purchased this hoping the old addage "you get what you pay for" would NOT apply. WRONG! The first unit was damaged, broken bits of plastic in the bottom of the box. O.K.---- returned it and brought home another. I got to step two of assembly and the carriage bolts did not engage because the base was embossed too deeply and holes were too big. Back in the box and in the car. Third time a charm? Not for this consumer. I hope you have had better luck. I will take my $ back and move on.

I bought this bike about 2 weeks ago and have already put over 100 miles on it. It is aboslutely SILENT, making it easy to watch TV or read while getting in my cardio workout. This model doesn't have loads of bells and whistles. You can adjust the tension and you get all the requisite readouts - time, distance, mileage, rpms. It won't, however, take your pulse, heart rate or any of that stuff - and that's just fine with me. I assembled it myself without help. Had no problems - but I took my time. All the hardware and tools needed were included. Put 15 miles on it the same day I put it together. I would recommend this to anyone. My last Weslo Exercise Bike lasted about 8 years and thousands of miles before it got noisy and clackety. If I get another 8 years out of this one I will be thrilled. For $139, it's a fabulous buy.

Bought the product but never worked as expected. Made some weird noise from day one and seemed like it's going to break soon. Called the number provided with manual but got the message that we are closed for one reason or another whenever I called. Poor customer service and got frustrated so ended up returning back to the store.

The seat adjustment is difficult if multiple users. The pedals could have a better strapping system to hold your feet in place. This is not a high tech model but it does the job well. The seating is comfortable and has an ample monitoring system. The price point was good.

Love this bike. It was easy to put together, and doesn't take up lots of space. Riding while watching TV is really easy as it is very quiet compared to others I've tried. I'd read other reviews that the seat was a pain to adjust so we "skipped" putting the seat on until we had the pedals attached. Then I sat on the seat and decided where I wanted it placed. Of course once I put the back on, I ended up having to move the seat anyway.....but it wasn't that big a deal. I'm not planning on running any marathons but this bike affords me the opportunity to "walk" inside while the weather outside is too cold to walk.

I was unhappy the seat adjustment requires tools and 5-10 minutes to adjust. My spouse is much shorter than me so for us she has to really stretch to reach peddles.

Don't Do it!

Was going along pretty well until we found the wire that connects the screen to the bike was about 6 inches too short. Sat on hold with the company for over 30 minutes only to be disconnected before anyone answered. Took the initiative to take apart the cowling and reroute the wire so it was long enough. Seemed to work. The seat is really not adjustable. Two screws have to be removed and reset in a new location and it is all done blind so it takes awhile to line everything up. All in all it's a poor design! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

Avoid !!!

If your a smallish person who does not expect much from an exercise bike this is for you.set up is not to difficult 30-45 minutes and that's where the good portion of this review ends. If you are average height or above avoid this bike. If your looking for a workout avoid this bike, the tension is beyond week.if you have large feet avoid this, bike pedals are like 3 or,4 inches wide and long.they are flat out tiny and the straps provided are nothing short of a joke. One has to wonder why they would bother to design this and then someone okay it for production. Do yourself a favor and look else where for a worthy bike.....

I think the bike itself is worth the price. I am satisfied with it. Does what it is supposed to do. My only complaint was, the way it was packaged. Nothing to protect it, so the plastic casing (just cosmetic) was cracked. We didn't discover that tho until we had put all of the smaller parts together and was ready to attach them to the main section (where the pedals are) and then discovered that the plastic housing was busted. I sure didn't want us having to take it apart, box it up, go back to Wal-Marts and exchange it and hope the next one wasn't like it, so we kept it. Other than that, it was a good bike for the price. So far it works great.

I did like the price as I looked at many exercise bikes. My only complaint is the seat adjustment. Having to literally turn it upside down and take out hex head screws to adjust the seat is not for multiple users, however, since I will be using the bike almost exclusively, it won't be a problem for me. It was easy to assemble and the short time on delivery after ordering it was truly great. It took less than 48 hours to be delivered to my local Walmart!

I wanted a small, basic recumbent bike. This model is perfect for me. Only one possible downside - the seat does not adjust leg space without removing it. Since I am the only one in the family using it, this is not a problem. It is a very sturdy piece of exercise equipment for the price! We ordered online and picked up in the store the same day. Very convenient system.

Good design and easy to use. I have parkinson's, and my therapist recommended this type of exercise. I chose this model partly because it stated that rpm's are displayed (so that I could ensure my exercise was within my therapist's recommendations), and was disappointed that rpm's are displayed in "bars" and not numbers.
