This desk is exactly what I expected from the description and online picture. The material is of course cheap particle board though I never noticed after it was together. The edges are a little sharp (not enough to cut but enough to be annoying) though so you might want a wrist rest for your mouse hand.
The desk looks great and fit into a smaller/average room nicely. The side table is useful for homework or drawing/extra space.
It took about 3 hours to put together.

I ordered this desk because I will be starting my first semester of college in August of this year. I definitely wanted an L-Shaped desk with at least a little bit of storage/shelving, but everything I found to be up to par for what I wanted/needed was over $200. (Looked at Staples, Office Depot, Target, etc.)
Given the price of this desk, I was a little hesitant to order it. The saying "you get what you pay for" was lingering in my head. But I was VERY pleasantly surprised!
The desk is sturdy, and assembly is relatively easy, (coming from a 19 year old girl who has never assembled anything of that sort before), though I would not recommend assembling it by yourself, as I did.
The desk did come with one piece damaged - a large chip on the corner of a panel. Thankfully it was on one of the back pieces that faces the wall, and did not cause any problems during assembly, so I didn't bother worrying about it.
Very quick delivery, with standard shipping.
Given the price of this desk, I was a little hesitant to order it. The saying "you get what you pay for" was lingering in my head. But I was VERY pleasantly surprised!

Great desk for the price but be sure to wipe down all edges of black portions of the desk with a damp paper towel, otherwise, you will end up with ink on your hands and forearms, etc.

I purchased this product about a week ago in store. I must say, it is very sturdy and all my parts fit together just fine. my only issue is the door, I can't seem to align it straight. It took me 2 hours to put together by myself considering I didn't have a lot of room in my bedroom to space out everything. When I finished it was shaky, and I must agree with other reviewers that you cannot move the desk around easily or it will break, so I suggest assembling it where you want it to stay. That or have two people lift from both ends to move it. Overall very pleased as I quickly needed to find a desk for college.

I purchased this desk in January, and bought it solely because of the cost and the fact that it was an L-shaped desk. My biggest issue with this desk is the sturdiness of it and the materials used for some parts. The pull out keyboard tray will overtime come off the tracks because there isn't a bracket pushing up against the keyboard tray, (easy fix but shouldn't have to be done). When both hands are on the keyboard and put pressure to each side, the desk will move. I have a 24" monitor and a 21" monitor with a full tower.

i rated this this a 4 for 2 reasons:
1. i had it delivered to me instead if picking it up in the store. i was home when it was delivered and heard a loud thud outside my door. when i went to see what it was, i found the desk on my front porch. the delivery guys just tossed it on the floor outside my house! luckily, only one piece was broken. i would recommend store pickup for this item to prevent improper handling.
2. there are a couple of steps in the assembly that require an assistant. luckily, someone else was around when i was assembling the desk. make sure someone is around while you are putting it together (it shouldn't take too long- im a slow worker and it took me under four hours).
overall, i am very satisfied with this item and recommend it!

Great for a small corner space

I needed a new desk ASAP as the one I was using was almost completely broken. I didn't have a lot of money, so I was looking at this one. I was so not disappointed with this.
I ordered it on a Friday and received it the next Thursday, which was awesome shipping time! I definitely recommend buying this desk if you're looking for something inexpensive.
Pros:
It looks wonderful!
The desk is fairly small, and will fit nicely into a corner.
The hutch is big enough to hold most office items (in my opinion, at least).

Some of the pieces don't fit perfectly together, so you will see slight gaps. It doesn't bother me, because I'm just starting out and needed something quick.

I recently moved into a work-at-home position in my job and needed a fairly good sized desk to accommodate the 2 large monitors I use. They easily fit and still have plenty of room left. The desk was fairly easy to put together, instructions were decent, and all parts were there. Overall, a great product for the price.

The desk was VERY difficult to build. The locking mechanisms are garbage, and they cased the legs to break before I finished assembling it. The slide out keyboard tray would not fit it, it kept falling out of place. I was also unable to make the cabinet door work properly. Turns out, my best friend bought the SAME desk and had the EXACT SAME PROBLEMS. I would look elsewhere for a desk.

Had this install by a male friend and where you place the keyboard came off after a week of use. I love building furniture and I have an entertainment unit from Wal-Mart that is still sturdy with years of use, so I don't know what the deal is with this desk. I will still make use of the desk by using the top potion for the placement of my keyboard. It looks really nice, just which it was sturdier.
