I have been using Royal Purple for a number of years. I changed to Mobil 1 because Walmart didn't carry RP. The difference was great; Mobil 1 seem to be sluggish even though it was synthetic. Royal Purple is clean, even after 5000 mi! If you want your car to last, use Royal Purple!

Don't buy into the hype. This purple oil is 60-70% more expensive than other top shelf synthetic oils. You will not notice any difference. Castrol Edge with Titanium is $26 bucks per 5qts at walmart. Royal purple is near $9 per quart, or $45 per 5 quarts. It is not worth the price difference.
