Capcom Resident Evil: Revelations 3D (3DS)

In an all-new storyline that takes place between the events of Resident Evil4 and Resident Evil5, Resident Evil Revelations follows branching stories of franchise favorite characters Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield. Chris has disappeared and its up to Jill, along with her new partner Parker Luciani, to track down his whereabouts. Their only clue leads them to an abandoned cruise ship in the Mediterranean. Far from being empty, the vessel hides danger around every corner as Jill and Parker explore the confined spaces of the ship, facing frightening horrors that emerge from the darkness. For the first time in the franchise, players will venture underwater in an effort to escape the terrifying creatures roaming the ship. Full of conspiracies and plot twists, Resident Evil Revelations is told in the style of a TV drama as players work to discover the location of Chris Redfield, the source of the T-Virus, and the intentions of a mysterious terrorist organization, Veltro.

Fun Factor: 5-5
The graphics are somewhere in-between RE4, and RE5. Which is fitting since the story takes place in-between Resident Evils 4 and 5. The sound and over all atmosphere is great and creepy. Perfect for a cruise. LOL

Resident Evil, that said it all, there is not a person out there that could not use a heads up on how to kill zombies and Capcom is the best.

Review 5 for Resident Evil: Revelations 3D (3DS)

The reason why you need, or should keep your 3ds!

This game in my opinion is superior in gameplay, and story compared to Resident Evil 5 and 6. This is less action and more survival horror unlike the previous mentioned games. The majority of the game takes place on what seems to be an abandoned ship in the middle of mediterranian sea, where you will search for the truth about an new virus that threatens the planet. The environment is brought to life by the amazing 3d visuals, and sounds the ship makes while its turning side to side, the sound of your footsteps, and the sounds of every infected being on the ship following you through the ships ducts. controls are great, for lacking a second analog, i think they are pretty amazing. combat is easy as well. the campaign will run you about 8 hours, so it is pretty lenthy for a 3ds title.
Now I believe this game is well worth the price of 20 bucks just for the campaign. Not only is this game one of the best RE titles to come out in years story wise. It also has amazing online! Raid mode is what I kinda would say is a cross between RE gameplay with RPG elements. Your character will have to level up, and earn weapons and weapon upgrades through completing missions with your friends or people online. theres also a solo play mode if you dont have wifi. you earn money by how well you complete a mission and with this money you can purchase more weapons, ammo, and weapon upgrades. This is by far the most fun Ive had online with the 3ds. If your not completely satisified by this review, please download the demo in the 3ds marketplace. Thanks for reading! hope this helped.
