Juniper Bonsai

I purchased this gift for my boss' birthday. I had it delivered to his house so didn't get a chance to see it, other than on the web site. But from how happy he sounded when he called me to thank me, I can only imagine that it was well received and well liked. The only down side is that he said it came without directions. But he wasn't too upset about it because he's had a Bonsai tree before and has books on them. But that bothered me a little. So I think the delivery people should double check theitems being shipped to make certain that ALL necessary documentation is sent out with the item. Other than that, I plan to purhcase one for myself, on my next pay day. Thanks

Our Bonsai is Beautiful, and precious. She's an esquisite tree with so much personality, we've named her...Anna Nicole!!! Great gift, to yourself, or anyone into trees, plants...life!

I ordered two bonsai junipers and they were exactly what the picture and description say. Packaging was great and kept the plants in a sturdy condition upon travel....full of bubble wrap, peanuts, and cling wrap to keep the moisture in. After about an hour the leaves laid down beautifully. In one I did recieve care insturction and in the other I did not. I ordered them at seperate times and they arrived together. I recommend this product to anyone who wants a beautiful decor in their home. Easy to care for.....The plant is young and healhty

So I bought the Bonsai for my boyfriend's Valentine's Day gift and it was perfect. It looked exactly like the picture but it didn't come with everything as was advertised (2 things to be exact). But I still like it alot though I was just a little perturbed I had to go out and get the additional stuff

This little bonsai plant was a gift. It came in perfect condition and was so cute! We all loved it. I will buy this again for other friends!

The tree was perfectly wrapped to a box for delivery. After getting the plastic unrolled and cut-out, the tree was easy to remove and in prefect condition. The bonai tree was arranged well with oriental figures that seem to give the entire view a mystical place to reflect and enjoy nature.

I ordered the bonsai for my mother who received it in 3-5 days. It was packaged extremely well and was in perfect condition including having enough water. My mother is enjoying it and has taken caring for it as a hobby. Unfortunately, it needs better directions for it's care and information on purchasing additional supplies and accessories.

Overall, it is a much better gift than flowers and my mother loves it.

The product was wrapped rather oddly, however. It took five minutes, with scissors, to remove all of the plastic from it. I highly suggest removing the plastic over a sink, as there was plenty of loose soil.

However, it was still moist.

The juniper bonsai was a bit older than the picture suggested; a huge delight. It is very healthy, and stunningly resilient. The first bonsai I owned needed to be watered twice and kept in full sun just to barely survive, while this plant just need be watered once daily, and kept in partial sun. It is thriving, with already promising new growths.

Only major flaw is the pot: The water trickles right over the edge since the soil does not absorb it immediately, and it has a small hole on the bottom which, due to the oblong shape of the pot, cannot be covered adequately.

Overall, it is a very good starter bonsai; very forgiving.

I bought this as a gift. The plant was wrapped securely and was delivered quickly. It appeared healthy. My only complaint is that it was shorter than the description. It measured more like 4 inches high from the dirt to the top of the tree instead of 6 inches. Perhaps the measurement included the container. My mother-in-law loved it regardless of the height.
